Earth Day is entirely focused on the care of our planet because of its worsening plight. Every part of its sphere has got polluted just because of human actions. The time is demanding for some action that can be taken for the protection of the earth. Today’s main concern is climate change due to which the whole world is facing a shift in climatic conditions. How Earth Day should be celebrated?
Now the question arises that what type of celebration should take place on this day? What type of steps should be taken to make the earth a livable place like the initial days?
● Afforestation is the first and foremost ways to deal with the present condition but there are several other things which one can adopt in one’s lifestyle which can make a difference.
● We should save water and energy as much as we can because these two elements are the basis of our life.
● Try to switch off the appliances when not in use.
● Your water faucets should not be leaked and use water carefully and stop wasting water.
● Your clean surroundings can also help to handle the situation so make it clean with the use of bins.
● Use eco-friendly products that are not causing any hazard for life.
There are several products which are given by mother earth to us; use them carefully and try to find alternatives for them. Decrease the paper use as well as energy appliances for the works which can be done without them. Like Nelson, we should also involve children in all these activities so that they should feel the responsibility towards nature. Earth Day date was founded just with the thought to preserve nature and make it a pleasant place for living. So one should do every possible action which can be meant for earth protection like small distances can be covered by foot, be habitual to walk and save energy for the future.
The theme of Earth day
As I already mentioned that this time is observing a climatic change so to deal with upcoming situations, people should be aware and active to save the planet which has given us life. Today due to COVID-19, this celebration will be taken place from home so go green and live green motto can be practiced at home and the new generation will also be a participant if every household will understand their duty towards nature.
