Kesari is one of the most awaited Bollywood movie of the year. The period war drama based film is directed by Anurag Singh and based on the real-life story of the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi. What makes this battle different from other is that it was fought between an army of 21 brave Sikhs against 10,000 Afghans.
21 Sikh soldiers who were attacked by around 10,000 Afghans, chose to fight to the death, led by Havildar Ishar Singh. This decision is considered by historians as one of the history’s greatest last-stands.

The entire battle was narrated by sikh Gurmukh Singh who was the last survivor in the battle.
Saragarhi Day is celebrated on September 12 every year to commemorate the battle of that era.

Akshay Kumar will be playing the main role of Havildar Ishar Singh who motivate sikhs to led into battle.

After three back-to-back teasers of Kesari, fans were curious and excited for more. While the teasers gave us exciting glimpses of scene when Akshay and his men in a war field, the freshly released trailer of the film really took it up to next high level. The trailer more liked with Akshay Kumar delivering a heartfelt voice-over with weapons in hand and a kesari pagdi drapped on his head. Akshay Kumar is fearless and thunderous as Havildar Ishar Singh with power-packed look in incredible true story of valor. We also get our first glimpse of Parineeti Chopra as Ishar Singh’s wife in trailers.

The historic tuned background music takes us into the different warzone with the 21 brave men ready to take on an impossible feat. You’ll surely get the goosebumps when Akshay kumar delivers the most powerful dialogue – “Aaj meri pagdi bhi kesari,Jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi kesari.”

After Pulwama attack, questions arose whether India will strike back or not, and if yes, then when and how? So today was the answer to that question!

In a surprise to Pakistani security forces, the Indian Air Force reportedly dropped around 1,000 kg bombs on Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps across the Line of Control (LoC) in Muzafarabad sector early morning( 3:30am) on Tuesday. Pakistan army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor also confirmed that the Indian Air Force (IAF) violated the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan. A group of Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it. In this operation, a very large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commanders and groups of jihadis who were being trained for evil action were eliminated.
Indian Cabinet Committee on Security meeting took place at Narendra Modi’s residence 7 at Lok Kalyan Marg. It was attended by PM Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

While a confirmation of the attack came only after a meeting of the Cabinets, messages and then tweets flowed since morning.

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi tweeted:

His party too, “We salute the @IAF_MCC for their consistent & determined effort to keep Indians safe. Jai Hind,” posted this on its official Twitter handle.

Soon after the news spread, congratulatory messages started pouring in for the Indian Air Force and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with ‘How’s the Josh’, the popular phrase from the recently released movie Uri taking all over the Internet.
In only a couple of hours after attack, hashtags like #airstrike, #IndiaStrikesBack and #SurgicalStrike2 started trending on Twitter and facebook. Bollywood celebrities and sports stars too stepped forward to praise the air strike.

Indian media praised the precision and success of the attack.

This one is love tale of the most unique journey of two individuals coming together in a prodigious city.

Ritesh Batra’s film “The Lunchbox” was full of unconventional romance between its characters. Continuing it is Batra’s new film “PHOTOGRAPH” with Nawazzudin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles.

Sanya is a very passionate performer. I felt that she put in amazing work to portray as ‘Noorie’. She is little bit happy face girl all the time so this may be a challenge for her to be a serious woman in movie, but the most astonishing moment is when u felt that character. While, Nawazzudin Siddiqui who plays Rafi is another worthwhile performance. Rafi, a travel guide who makes his living by taking photographs of tourists at spot. You feel in trailer that both of them are too different, so when these two ideologies clash it becomes very compelling to watch.

So How it goes? Let’s know!

One day Rafi comes across Noorie(Sanya Malhotra) at the Gateway of India, Mumbai. Other than their reclusive nature, there is no element of commonality between these two personality. The movie, very much aware of this fact, remarks this by making a character ask Sidiqqui if the two were actors and were shooting for a movie; how else could these two be together after these large gaps?

Towards the second half of the trailer, Siddiqui’s grandmother, who is eager to find a girl for him is an amazing character. Rafi and Noorie decide to pretend to be in love for the sake of his grandmother. As they are left with no choice as his grandmother has stopped taking her pills until she finds a woman for him which may be risky. The city of Mumbai is highlighted beautifully as the three are shown roaming around. The movie has been shot on location in this city.

Movie premiere

The movie premiere at both Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival already done and hardwork of team is appreciated by all audience.
The movie originally scheduled to release on March 15. An unusual friendship developing into something unknown love may or maybe not. Can this movie hide more than we can see in trailer? 🤔

The pictures coming from the scene of the terrorist attack in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir have created an atmosphere of grief and anger everywhere. And for a long time, it will remain in the collective memory of the country. On the Pulwama terror attack, country is in shock and trauma, and few or more words can not express the grief.
At least 44 CRPF jawans were killed and dozens of soldiers were injured in a terrorist attack on February 14 in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. The number of people killed in the Avantipora terror attack of Pulwama is on the rise, police officials said that terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for the attack. This incident took place when about 2,547 personnel of the CRPF were traveling in a convoy of 78 vehicles and going to Srinagar from the transit camp in Jammu. Police sources said that a suicide bomber stopped his vehicle around 3:15 pm. In a previous report it was said that an instant explosive device (IED) was exploded and then the militants fired on the convoy. But thing is that what will happen now?
After this incident, let’s change the dp, let’s burn their flag. Is that what we need to do? We all know this horrifying incident that happened was not right but right now, all we need is unity, hope, prayers and faith in army. At least for this time, let’s not talk and blame any political parties. India is not that weak. From every corner of the country there were soldiers who are now ‘shahid’ for the country, so instead of doing this, send power through your prayers to the army, and we all need to believe in the army right now. They won’t stop and will bounce back.

It’s very tough time for the families of the martyrs. The whole Nation is with them.
Such a strong and brave heart are the families who are saying that they will send another son too to the army.
