What’s so special about January?

For millions of people, the month of January is the blessed month. On 25 January 1919, the Messiah of humanity, the second spiritual master of Dera Sacha Sauda – Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj Incarnated on this mortal earth. The moment of incarnation of his holiness was a moment of ultimate bliss. The whole nature danced in utmost gratitude and waves of happiness spread all around.

The whole family rejoiced with utmost benevolence.

His holiness took birth in Sri Jalalana Sahab, Haryana in the family of Revered Father, Shri Wareyam Singh Ji, and Revered Mother Mata Aas Kaur Ji. The birth name of Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj was Sardaar Harbans Singh Ji. His Holiness was the sole child of his parents and took birth after 18 years of marriage. So the child was extremely special for the family. Both parents were pious souls and believers of spirituality and humanity. Both of the parents belonged to the Sidhu family. While growing up, there were hundred of events that made people nearby witness his holiness’ divine energies.

The quest for True Spiritual Master and succession of Dera Sacha Sauda.

Since childhood, His Holiness was inclined towards God. As a child, his holiness was curious about his existence and wished to see him. His holiness had a keen interest in spirituality since childhood. This curiosity led to the quest for a perfect spiritual master who would fulfill the wish of achieving God and salvation. During this journey, His Holiness met several people and visited many places. Finally, His Holiness got the chance to attend a spiritual discourse of Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj who is the founder and at that time, spiritual head of Dera Sacha Sauda.

Finally, on 28 February 1960, Shah Mastana Ji revealed their secret to the world by making His Holiness the successor to the Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. Sai Ji blessed Param Pita Ji with Spiritual treasures of both realms and honored him with the name of ‘Shah Satnam Singh Ji’.
Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj sermonized that the soul who utters ‘Satnam’ or who has His (Shah Satnam Singh Ji’s) pious Darshan will never go to hell. The world then witnessed the ultimate amalgation of divine powers which is befitting the whole of mankind till today.

Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj – the true spiritual master of millions.

Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj traveled to many cities and villages and led the caravan of spirituality. His Holiness bestowed millions with Naam Shabad or the method of meditation. At that time, People were indulged in alcohol addiction and senseless customs in the name of religion. Shah Satnam Ji awakened masses to shun all evils and connected them with the true path of spirituality. Christmas season is the winter time and It is harsh reality that Lakhs of people around the country lack food and proper clothes to protect themselves from the chilling cold of winter season. Temperature drops down at night and weather becomes non tolerable for the homeless. The volunteers of Dera Sacha Dauda have come forward to provide relief to such people . With the pious teachings and guidance of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, volunteers are distributing warm clothes like jackets , sweaters to needy children adults and elderly for free. History behind Christmas

There are various different theories and reasons which tells us why the Christmas is celebrated and why is it celebrated on 25th December only. Christmas is celebrated as a day when Jesus Christ was born to father Joseph and mother Marry in Bethlehem. According a supposition, on 25th march mother Marry was annunciate that she would conceive a son by the power of Holy Spirit to called as Jesus. So after nine months it was on 25th December whereas many people celebrated 25th march as Christmas earlier. The first time when Christmas was celebrated on 25th December was in 336 AD. according to the earlier calendar of Romans. However, the scholars are not sure of birth date of Jesus but it is still celebrated on 25th December all around the globe.

Significance of the festival

Christmas is one of the most significant festivals of Christians which is observed on 25th of December all over the world. It marks the very importance of the festival as Christians believe that Jesus is holy son of God, sent on earth to free people from their sins through His sacrifice. Jesus was born in the times when there was greed, superstitions, hatred, crimes, hypocrisy prevailed all over the land and Jesus brought a new transformation in lives of people and filled it with purity and spiritualism. This is why Christmas symbolises the importance of sacrifice made by crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Celebrations of Christmas

The Christmas brings a lot of joy and enthusiasm to people. For most people its preparations start many days earlier. The main preparations include cleaning homes, purchasing decorations, gifts especially for children, Christmas tree, matching outfits etc. Christmas celebrations start on the eve of 25th December and lasts till the next day. A Christmas tree is decorated in every home with lighting; colourful bulbs etc. and the presents are placed under the tree wrapped in gift boxes. People send greetings by writing cards to each other along with some gifts. It also includes baking traditional plum cakes, muffins, and cupcakes. Children are excited to meet Santa Clause; they are told that Santa lives on North Pole. He visits the night of Christmas and children leave their stockings to get gifts from Santa Clause.

The festivals are the symbol of love and uniteness. Jesus also gave the message of love and taught that all the people belong to one another in some way or other. Christmas is a beautiful festival, people send their love and gifts to each other but there are a lot of people who don’t have enough to celebrate their Christmas. So this time, let’s celebrate the Christmas day with poor, needy and unprivileged people.

Dera Sacha Sauda, the socio-welfare organisation, is known for its wonderful humanitarian initiatives and works. A brief introduction to the whole 135 humanitarian works

Dera Sacha Sauda has started 135 humanitarian works under the guidance and teachings of revered Guruji. The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) are dedicated enough to make a revolutionary impact on the society. Many successful campaigns have been started by DSS which have been able to serve the needy.

Either it is for the respect for all the genders or for the voice against gender discrimination, DSS has always been at forefront to serve humanity. There are many

novel transformative initiatives which have actually considered to be a boon for number of people. Not only this, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda also help the underprivileged people by donating food, clothes and other necessities. Differently abled are donated with tricycles and other necessary equipments. There is a regular donation of blood by followers after every three months to the patients of Thalassemia, soldiers or the needy ones.

The conservation of nature has also been taken into account and the practices like tree plantation on the large scale is one of the marvelous environmental initiatives of DSS. Even during pandemic, DSS has continued to serve humanity via distribution of Lemonade and fruits in the hospitals with all the safety precautions.

SHUBH-KAAMNA : THE 136th CAMPAIGN

Today, DSS has initiated one more selfless initiative known as ‘SHUBH-KAAMNA.’ Like all the other initiatives, this campaign has also been initiated under the great guidance of Saint Dr. MSG. In this initiative, fruits are distributed in the hospitals to the needy patients.

We often take fruits with us whenever we visit any sick relative or friend. With a viewpoint of this, the volunteers of DSS provide patients with fruits with respect to the relation of humanity between them and the needy. The needy ones are considered as our own relative and thus,

are provided with fruits.

PRACTICALITY OF THE INITIATIVES

It is said, “Actions speak louder than words.” The actions of DSS have proved the authentication of their welfare practices. For example:

Every great or valuable event of DSS is celebrated by doing welfare works by the volunteers. Recently, 30th Mega Free Eye Camp was organised to commemorate the revered second spiritual chief of DSS, Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj. It had been a great success with the great zeal of followers and doctors.

Trees are planted every year by volunteers in a large amount for environmental concerns to mark the Incarnation Day of Revered Guruji, Saint Dr. MSG.

Other ocassions and events were celebrated by distributing tricycles to the disabled ones, winter stuff like blankets or warm clothes. Many people have also served by providing full fledged houses to them by DSS.

Even on the ocassion of an individual follower of DSS, it is celebrated by doing welfare like blood donation, tree plantation, distribution of food or stationary to the needy students and many other works by him.

The volunteers of states like Fazilka, Panchkula, Kotra, Kaithal, Telangana, Hisar, Barnala, Agra, Panipat, Jehanabad, Saharsa, Manuke, Samana, Jind, Jaipur, Patiala, Hanumangarh, Ludhiana, Bathinda

and Sirsa of Punjab, Haryana, UP, Bihar, Hyderabad and Rajasthan have already distributed fruits to the needy patients and pregnant ladies. They went to the private and government hospitals, following all the safety protocols and presented fresh fruits to the patients. The doctors of the respective hospitals were astonished at the continuous efforts of welfare by DSS.

The zeal and enthusiasm towards mankind is unexpressable in DSS followers. Every selfless deed is done by them with a great dedication towards humanity.

Dera Sacha Sauda organized 30th Yaad E Murshid Free Eye Camp successfully at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa in remembrance of Second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda – Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj. The camp was inaugurated on 12th December 2021 by the respected royal family members with the sacred slogan ‘Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra’. In this camp, 7380 people were registered for checkup and 133 operations were done till December 15

The camp Witnessed the matchless spirit of doctors and volunteers in serving humanity.

The camp was started by Shah Satnam Ji Research and Development Foundation under the National Blindness Control Program. All the patients were amazed by the warm hospitality provided by the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda. The whole ambience was filled with the love and dedication of volunteers and doctors to serve the people who visited to get their eyes checked up. As sermoned by his holiness Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan – “whoever serves patients in this camp wholeheartedly as if they are serving the Almighty Himself, attain treasures of blessings right away! “
So, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda never leave a single chance of serving humanity. The passion to serve is filled in them by the pious teachings of their Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. The services of the doctors are highly commendable who left no stone unturned in giving relief to the eye patients.
The patients who visited the camp felt so grateful for the first-class treatment and warm hospitality. It’s the real tribute that everyone pays to their Master, Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj.

All covid guidelines were strictly followed.

The specialty of the camp was that the rules of covid-19 were strictly followed during this period. With social distancing in the patient, wearing a mask on the mouth, sanitizing the hands at short intervals, and checking the temperature of each before entry was very impressive.

All the services were rendered free of cost.

All the patients were examined free of cost on the three days of the camp and patients were selected for the operation. Free operations were done. Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers provided all the accommodation, food, and transport free of cost. The operations were done in operation theaters well equipped with all facilities located at Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospitals.

Lucky are those who can see this colorful world created by God. But many unfortunate people are blind by birth & lose their eyesight accidentally, and some start having vision problems due to other factors. Many poor people don’t care much about their eyes because surgery is much expensive in private hospitals, so they just live a life of darkness. To facilitate them with free of cost services, the socio-spiritual organization Dera Sacha Sauda is organizing a free cost eye camp to provide them all the modern facilities & they will get treatment from the super specialists of eyes. This is the 30th Mega Free Eye Camp organized in Shah Satnam Ji Multispeciality Hospital and at Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa from the 12th to the 15th of December. Till now 29 successful camps have been organized by the DSS in the pious guidance of revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan who is the current chief of Dera Sacha Sauda. A glimpse of 3rd Day of the Mega Free Eye Camp

On the third day of this camp total registration has been done till now is 5715, for female: 3399 & Male: 2316. It is a great starting to this camp with the good numbers of patients checked up. Super specialists doctors are giving their selfless services for the needy ones & the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda passionately serve the patients, and patients are happy with their selfless services to them.
Like tomorrow, the patients who are selected for OPD will get operated on in OTs of the hospital with all the modern facilities., and they will provide with all the facilities post-op.

Mega Eye Camp started with the Covid-19 guidelines instructed by the government

There are some instructions for Covid-19 that have been released by the organization which must have to be followed by all the people who are joining this camp. These are the instructions which are instructed by the government too.
Those patients who have fever, cough, sore throat, cold, firstly they need to check up from Government Hospital for Covid-19 negative report, then only they allow joining the camp.
The Sugar, heart & Asthma patients won’t be operated on in this camp. And one family member should be there with the patient. They should bring their 2 government Id cards with photos. They should wear a triple-layer mask all the time.
The patients should follow all the descriptions given by the doctor post-op. And for all, the patients & their family members food, accommodation & medical is free of cost in this camp.

The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda are the heroes for these needy patients, who are aware of the people about this camp & bringing them to the camp, and providing selfless services to them. This spirit of welfare works for society comes from their inspirational source saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji who filled them with full passion to do selfless service for the children of supreme power. Guru Ji has started the 135 welfare works till now, which is running continuously by His disciples.

4051 patients registered in Mega Free Eye Camp at Dera Sacha Sauda

30th Mega Free Eye Camp is being organized at Dera Sacha Sauda from 12 December 2021 to 15 December 2021 in the pious rememberance of Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj who is the second spiritual master of Dera Sacha Sauda.

The inauguration of the Yaad E Murshid Free Eye camp

The 30th Free Eye Camp has been started on 12 dec 2021 at Dera Sacha Sauda with a prayer and with the holy slogan ‘ Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra’ and by holy blessings of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. The full team of doctors, volunteers of DSS with the paramedical staff members joined the prayer and with this checkup were commenced.’ All the doctors , medical staff and volunteers began their duties with utmost passion. Registration had already begun from December 10 , 2021 and is still going on. Needy patients from all over India have registered their names to avail the services.

All the covid guidelines are being followed.

Despite large no. of people including volunteers and patients gathered at Dera Sacha Sauda , covid guidelines are being followed very strictly. The patients are first screened for any symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat or cold. After verification of IDs, patients are registered. A triple layer mask is made mandatory for every volunteer and patient. Moreover, special team has been made to regulate social distancing.

All the services are rendered free of cost.

Mostly cataract and glaucoma operations are performed in this camp. Apart from this, essential medicines, laboratory tests are also provided free of cost and spectacles are also provided to the patients free of cost. Patients from various remote areas of states like Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh have come to avail the benefits of the camp. All operations will also be performed in high-tech operating theaters and all operations will be performed with advanced technique.

Thousands of registrations are done in Mega Free Eye Camp this year.

About 4051 registrations are done till date under which the number of male patients is 1825 and female patients is 2226.

The volunteers are serving every patient like their family. The accommodation and food is free of cost. Since 1992, The Mega Free Eye Camp is organized every year in the pious memory of the second spiritual master of Dera Sacha Sauda, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj. Lakhs of eyes got vision and lakhs of free operations have been done. Lakhs of free consultations have been given through this camp. Lives have been illuminated because of the passion of volunteers and their selfless passion to serve. This year too, many patients are going to be benefited in the Mega Free Eye Camp. They will receive checkup for different eye ailments and the required treatment will be done so that they can see this colorful world with good vision.
