Revered Saint Beparwah Mastana Ji Maharaj was born on the full moon day of Kartik month in 1891 in the family of revered father Shri Pillamal Ji in village Kotada, Tehsil Gandhey, princely state Kulayat (Balochistan). His holiness’ mother’s name was Mata Tulsan Bai ji. The most respected father of Shah Mastana Ji was famous in the village as ‘Shah Ji. He was a religious, kind, and honest man. Thy respected mother also used to spend most of her time in the service of saints and religious works. The childhood name of SaiJii was ‘ Khemamal ji ‘

The auspicious arrival of the Divine Master is a blessing for the whole universe.

On the auspicious birth of Shah Mastana Ji, there was happiness in the house and all the universe danced in this joyful moment. Sweets were distributed all over the village. Grains and clothes were donated to the poor. When the divine light descended on this mortal earth, all heavens hailed in glory. The Songs of happiness started resonating all around. The angels showered flowers from the heavens, due to which the whole atmosphere was drenched with the divine fragrance. Nature got enchanted by the supreme light and thanked the true Master.
Undoubtedly incarnation of Revered Mastana Ji Maharaj on this earth freed the souls from the stronghold of evils and opened the path of salvation.

The persona of a saint is the epitome of unconditional love for humanity.

Since childhood, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj had unconditional love for the whole of humanity. His Holiness bestowed kindness to all equally. Here are some of the instances from the childhood of his holiness.

Feeding the hungry

Once Revered Mastana Ji Maharaj was standing at a shop to take ration. There were some poor and hungry people who were pleading with the shopkeeper to borrow some flour. The shopkeeper refused to lend further. Seeing all this, Shah Mastana Ji felt pity for them. At that time Sai Ji had only one rupee to buy ration for the home. Sai Ji fed those helpless and hungry people with that money. With the thought of not upsetting Revered mother, Sai Ji worked the whole day in a field and earned money.

Cleaning the pathways:

Similarly, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj considered it his ultimate duty to serve humanity. Thou would get up at three in the morning. With the thought that no passerby should get hurt due to stones, thorns, and pebbles, his holiness would clean the entire path and would return home before anyone was awake.

Arranging water for thirsty

In those days there were huge sand dunes that got heated in the summer months. Due to extreme heat, it was difficult to walk and travelers would get distraught with thirst. Sai Ji arranged water pots for the travelers. His holiness would carry water pots on his shoulders from miles to quench the thirst of people. Moreover, his holiness would arrange some eatables to satisfy their hunger.

The Strong desire to attain God.

Since childhood, There was a strong desire in thy mind to attain God. Sai Ji was always curious to search for the supreme power – God. His holiness was always devoted to worship and always prayed for the well-being and happiness of others. Once Sai Ji was praying in his place, when a faqir, dressed in white, came and said, ” Search for the True Spiritual Guru, there is no salvation without true Guru”
After some days, the same instance occurred. Sai Ji became very curious about his identity and thus his search for True Spiritual Master began.

The search for the true spiritual master

This search for a True Spiritual Master introduced him to several people who were famous for their devotion towards God. But Sai Ji wanted complete truth and none could satisfy his curiosity for True Satguru. Finally, the search ended after 9 years when he reached Beas in Punjab (India).
His Holiness was introduced to Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj in Beas one of his spiritual congregations. Sai Ji was astonished to see that the faqir his holiness had seen earlier while worshipping was Baba Sawan Singh Ji. Sai Ji learned the method of meditation from his Guru.

Thou presented a supreme example of a true disciple.

Shah Mastana Ji was completely satisfied to meet the True Spiritual Master and had utmost faith. His holiness’ pure and sincere devotion was enough for his Satguru to bestow all spiritual knowledge to his disciple. Baba Sawan Singh Ji entitled Sai Ji with the name Shah Mastana Ji. Sai Ji presented a supreme example of a true disciple who had unconditional love, faith, and respect for his master.

The foundation of the confluence of all religions – Dera Sacha Sauda

Sai Ji was entrusted with the sacred duty of conducting Spiritual discourses and teaching meditation to people in the provinces of Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab. Later Baba Sawan Ji Maharaj bestowed Sai Mastana Ji Maharaj with spiritual wealth and named his holiness the” king of the Bagar” region. Then Sai Ji was assigned to spread the spiritual message in the Sirsa region of Haryana.
Thus in 1948, Sai Ji established Dera Sacha Sauda- the confluence of all religions. Today Dera Sacha Sauda needs no introduction and this socio-spiritual organization is known to all.

Thy simplicity, kindness, love, and modesty are engraved in every heart.
“तरुवर फल नहीं खात है, सरूवर पीवें ना नीर। परमार्थ के कारने , संतन भयो शरीर ॥ “
Trees do not produce fruits for themselves, oceans do not possess water for themselves, Similarly, Saints incarnate for the benefit of the whole of mankind.
Shah Mastana Ji enchanted everyone around with his simplicity and kindness. His holy voice and pious sermons changed the lives of millions. Sai Ji distributed food, clothes, and money to the poor. His holiness would arrange water for the travelers. Even Animals and birds were loved and cared for.
Sai Ji established Dera Sacha Sauda where lessons of brotherhood were taught to people. Everyone was wholeheartedly invited without any discrimination. People left their vices, adapted spirituality, and connected to God. Sai Ji shunned many superstitions and thousands of families got blessed with the pious presence.

The celebration of Incarnation Month is going to be extra special.

World Food Day Special: Celebrating Food heroes who keep fast to serve hungry

For most of us, fortune is about getting what we dream and desire. We are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to make choices. In fact, having the fortune to make choices leads us to take things for granted. We are lucky that we can afford fresh, hot, and tasty meals served on our plates. And still, most of the people nitpick and complaint, as a result of which food wastage has become a common scenario.
But there are children and people out there, for whom having a meal in a day is an accomplishment. And for them being hungry means more than just missing a meal.

Facts you should know about hunger and malnutrition!

According to the data, millions of people do not have access to the food they need to live an active life. In a poverty-stricken and economically challenged country like India, there are lakhs of families who suffer from chronic hunger and malnutrition. A mother who suffers from hunger and undernourishment during pregnancy passes the same risk to the child. This also increases the chances of delivering underweight, physically underdeveloped babies. The pandemic has worsened the situation, switching India to the 101st country on Global Hunger Index. There are underprivileged children out there who struggle, work at tender ages getting minimum wages daily to satiate their hunger.

World Food Day

16th October is marked as World Food Day to demand a collective approach from society and agencies towards fighting hunger and malnutrition. So today we present you an inspiring true story of an organization. Though the characters are fictional, the initiative by this organization is remarkable in coping with the problem of food deprivation.

The story of Rajni

Rajni was born in a very poor family in the slums of Mansa, Punjab. Her mother is a widow who works as a maid. Rajni has three younger sisters. Being the eldest of all, she too started working at age of 8, cleaning utensils in the nearest dhaba. She would dream for the food served there, but could never dare to ask for some, and it mattered to no one. Her dreams of going to study shattered under the burdens of reality when the family could hardly manage to buy a meal a day. There were many nights when she had to sleep empty stomach and fed her younger siblings.
Rajni’s life took a turn and there came the ray of hope when one day, some people dressed in uniforms, wearing brown caps, knocked on their doors. They carried large boxes in their hands and distributing them to the poor elderly, sick, and many children like her. Her family also got their boxes which contained different packets of spices, pulses, flour, beans, etc., enough to make full-fledged meals for months. Some boxes even contained books and toys for them. She was smiling with happiness and excitement as any kid of her age would, getting toys, new packets of food, and many things she had just seen in fancy stores.
The people dressed in uniforms were like angels who assured her mother to contact them in need. They also assured her mother about a regular supply of food materials to their family so that she could focus her earnings on building the future of her children.
It was the happiest moment for the family and she could see a quiet smile on her mother’s face. From that day onwards, there was no single day when she had to sleep empty stomach.

Who are the real Food heroes who are donating food passionately every week!

Neha, a B.Com student, is a volunteer of an organization Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. The organization works day and night for the welfare of humanity with 135 humanitarian works. Food donation is one of them.
Many volunteers like her keep fast once a week. They save their monthly rations and collect them together in different areas and cities. These volunteers have thus built a chain of Food Banks. These food banks are then used to serve food on the plates of those who cannot afford it.
The food banks of Dera Sacha Sauda have ensured a regular supply of food to many underprivileged children like Rajni, sick elderly, and many poor families stuck in the shackles of poverty. This initiative has protected many families from the crisis of malnutrition and hunger.

Have you ever donated food to someone?

Food donation is considered one of the greatest donations. There is no better worship or ritual than feeding the hungry. Being a Volunteer at Dera Sacha Sauda, Neha feels extremely proud and happy. Every time she comes home after food and ration distribution, she experiences a different level of peace and serenity. Whenever she sees the smile on the faces of children like Rajni, it makes her more passionate to carry the initiative forwards.

Who is the inspiration behind it?

Dera Sacha Sauda is a humanitarian organization working worldwide, day and night under the inspiration of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan aka Saint Dr.MSG. The initiative of Food Banks is carried out in villages, small towns, and big cities, and remote areas of the country. Dera Sacha Sauda is standing as a great support in fighting hunger in the country under the guidance of Saint Dr. MSG.
With the pious inspiration, there are millions of people like Neha who have pledged to observe fast once a week and donate that food to the needy and underprivileged children like Rajni. The passion to serve humanity has been instilled in them by the teachings of their Spiritual Master, Saint Dr. MSG. Their continuous efforts have made them the Food Heroes for children like Neha whose life is all about the struggle for food. The Food Banks are thus aiding such people in their struggles. This is what is known as the real meaning of “Humanity”.

Let us all participate in such good deeds and make our country hunger-free nation.

World sight day: theme and significance

World sight day is observed every year on 14th of October. The theme for this year is ‘Love your eyes’. Many people suffer from eye related ailments and many just ignore them till they become bigger issues beyond curable level. Many a times, disease at initial level can be treated and reversed back completely but at advanced stage, some permanent damage occurs. So, awareness regarding sight and to ‘love your eyes’ is important.
This day holds importance as it brings attention to blindness and visual impairment. Many times, a person’s vision can be improved and sometimes, to 6/6. So, giving importance to sight is important.

What is postmortem eye donation?

To donate eyes is something anyone can do after death. You just need to fill form with hospital where you give consent to donate your eyes after your death. If someone has not filled the form, their family members can still donate the eyes by their will. The eyes need to be taken within 6 hours of death. The cornea is the part which is used. There are many people who are blind because of corneal disease and they can get their vision back via corneal transplantation.

Let us know a place where country’s largest number of corneal tissue is processed annually

We are talking about Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital that houses Poojaneeya Mata Kartar Kaur Ji International eye bank. It is one of the finest eye banks of the country. It has surplus corneal tissue which gets donated by people with the motivation of Revered Guruji Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Many people come to Dera Sacha Sauda carrying corneas of their deceased family members and donate them at the eye bank. Thousands of people have got their vision back after getting the corneal transplantation at the eye bank. This has all become possible only with the efforts of Revered Guruji.

The passion to serve and heal knows no limit

This is not all about this place to serve the humanity by giving them their sight back, instead with Guruji’s guidance, annual eye camp is organized at Dera Sacha Sauda. This camp is organized in December every year where thousands of patients visit the OPD in every camp and hundreds of surgeries are carried out. Registration, consultations, medicines, spectacles, etc. are provided free of cost. Let us step ahead to restore the dignity of daughters.

Since time immemorial, the status of women in society is neglected and crime against girls and women has been common. There have been many families who do not welcome the birth of a girl child. Right from her birth, she is discriminated against and oppressed.
Many girls are deprived of basic education, healthcare, and opportunities to grow and prosper. The exploitation of girl children by society results in education deprivation. Many girls struggle to foster new paths while some surrender to the plight. The safety of young girls is compromised outside and hence they are caged in the four walls of their houses.

Killing a girl child in the womb is an unforgivable sin.

Some years ago, There were times when female foeticide became very common across our nation, especially in northern states. Families aborted female wombs without hesitation until strict laws by the government were implemented.
But the fickle Mindedness of people made them carry out such activities illegally.
When such heinous activities started gaining pace, Dera Sacha Sauda stepped up to stop female foeticide under the leadership of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
Guruji in his holy Satsang urges people not to kill daughters in the womb and to give them equal rights. Guruji minces no words while condemning those people involved in such sinful acts. Saint Dr.MSG has urged to fill written pledge forms never to commit female foeticide.

The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda carried rallies place to place to awaken the masses to stop female foeticide.

Girls are no lesser than boys and must have equal rights.

Saint Dr. MSG in his holy Satsang makes people aware to view daughters equal. Girls are no lesser than boys and can prove their mettle in every good field.
An initiative called “Crown of Lineage” has been started by Guruji to give girls equal rights in a real sense. Under this initiative, single girl child brings their groom back home after marriage and thus the lineage of maternal families is carried forwards. Saint Dr. MSG sermonizes that a girl should not be raised as a weakling; rather should be raised strong. If a son can carry your lineage forward why a daughter cannot do the same, the same blood flows in her veins too.

Provide her right education and your girl child will prove her mettle.

Under Saint Dr. MSG’s pious leadership, Dera Sacha Sauda runs national and international educational institutions for girls which provide world-class education. The institutions provide all opportunities and platforms to girls to develop an all-around personality. As a result of collective efforts, girls have excelled in different fields and brought laurels to the nation.

Here is the story of “Royal Daughters”

With female foeticide increased in the country and baby girls often found dumped in trash bins, Dera Sacha Sauda adopted many deserted daughters who were likely to be either aborted or left in trash bins. These girls were named “Royal Daughters” and adopted as foster daughters by Saint Dr. MSG. They are taken care of with the best possible facilities and provided world-class education. Many of these girls are now very good sportspersons and achieve well in academics.

  4. A teacher of millions who taught the lessons of selflessness and humanity.
  5. The true teacher directs in every aspect of life.
  6. A teacher whose students are creating milestones in every field.

A true teacher is always needed in the world.

Today whole world is trapped in materialism, lies, and corruption. People have been blindfolded in the cobweb of anger, selfishness, lust, greed, limitless desires, etc. Morality and humanity are meaningless. Man has got directionless and forgot the real purpose of life.
Thus there is always a need for Guru or a teacher to throw the light and show the right direction. A true teacher provides moral lessons to his students that guide him throughout his life.

Teachings that can change the world and enlighten the universe.

Since time immemorial, the soul has been separated from the Almighty. The realization of access to spiritual regions and glimpses of God is possible with the key of meditation. A true spiritual teacher is there to provide the true method of meditation. He teaches the method to attain tranquility and free the chains from worldly chaos. As the rising sun gives warmth and light to all, the words of the true teacher provide a soothing effect to the wounds of the soul. The sacred rays of blessings from a true spiritual master burn the sins of many births like a spark on a stack of hay and turn them into ashes.

The guiding light of millions in the spiritual journey.

In this materialistic world, there are institutions to teach you how to become a money-making machine. No one cares to propagate the messages of love, unity, charity, care, brotherhood. As a result of this, most of the population especially youth is entrapped in negativity. The young generation is pushed to the dark world of depression and intoxicants.
Still, there are millions of people who are away from the trend, or we can say who are fortunate enough to get the teachings from a true spiritual master. The Spiritual Master blessed them with a true method of meditation which is the ultimate solution to every problem.
The divine Master sermonizes,
“Keep your emotions positive. Negative feelings overpower positivity. One can generate positivity by participating in welfare acts, attending satsangs, and of course, regular meditation.”
“Tree is laden with fruits; a fruit is rotten on the tree. Only fruit is rotten, not the whole tree. One who commits evil must be criticized too. But not the whole religion he belongs to.”

A teacher of millions who taught the lessons of selflessness and humanity.

Today about 65 million people around the globe have become warriors of humanity. The outstanding passion of volunteers of the organization Dera Sacha Sauda needs no introduction. Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has taught lessons of humanity to these people and instilled in them the passion to serve humanity selflessly.
By teaching the lessons of humanity, Saint Dr. MSG has stepped up to end the evil in society. Guruji is the Messiah of humanity for millions of people. About 135 humanitarian works are carried by these disciples each one of which is impressive. These people feed the hungry, construct houses for the homeless, clean the cities, take care of animals and birds, plant millions of trees, and what not!

The true teacher directs in every aspect of life.

A good teacher creates a reliable relationship with his students, that any student can easily share all his feelings, doubts, problems without hesitation. Millions of disciples of Saint Dr.MSG present their worldly as well as spiritual doubts to Saint Dr. MSG and get their problems solved. The teachings of Saint Dr. MSG give these disciples the courage and wisdom to decide the right path. The holy teachings of Guruji work as the inner voice that keeps guiding them. By following the right path and practicing meditation, millions of people experienced enhanced self-confidence, and positivity and they solved major life problems.

A teacher whose students are creating milestones in every field.

Guruji has prepared many International players who bring laurels to the nation. The teams have won several world-level matches. That’s why students call Guruji with the name “Papa Coach”.

Because God wants us to be healthy forever. Various human evolution studies have revealed that human ancestors were vegetarian throughout their life and our body too is not suitable to consume a non-vegetarian diet. A lot of evidences have been found of vegetarianism nature of human since past.
Being Vegetarianism throughout the life is one of the major principle of Dera Sacha Sauda which is a socio-spiritual organization as guided by the True Spiritual Master, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

Every Pious religion either its Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, etc always guides people on the right path and avoids the eating of flesh.
