Make the meditation a part of your life and enjoy a blissful life forever

Are we born to enjoy life? If yes, then why everyone has to go through burdens, troubles, and obstacles. How life would be if there are no pains and hardships? What if there are no more problems? These questions commonly circle in our minds.
All of us may have listened or read that meditation is the solution to every problem. Those who meditate always feel happy and no sorrow troubles them. Is it true? Is there any scientific basis behind this?
So let us explore more on this topic and know what method of meditation is.

What is true meditation?

The term meditation means to concentrate in such a way that all the thoughts going in our mind stop circling. It is like empowering one thoughts over others. Most people meditate with chants, some concentrate on one thought, others listen to a kind of music to concentrate while some just concentrate on outer objects and call it meditation.

But according to our Vedas and different religions, the true method of Meditation is taught by True Master. The meditation is a chant/mantra which is practically tested by a spiritual Master.
It is called as GuruMantra, Naam Shabad, God’s words, bang-e-ilaahi, kalmaa etc. in different religious literature. If the method of mediation is right and practiced correctly it delivers the soul to higher realms.

How does meditation work?

Inside our body, there resides soul / Atma/ Chetna/rooh who is solely responsible for every feeling. We are dead once the soul is gone. Our sorrows and negative thoughts make our soul and ultimately our body and mind become fragile. As our body needs a proper diet to function efficiently, our soul also needs its food too.
When we concentrate on God’s words, the soul gets its nourishment and becomes stronger.
Whereas science believes it is the brain that controls everything. Then also, the Only True method of Meditation has clearly presented to increase the brain level of serotonin.
Meditation can increase amounts of Oxygen within the brain. Increased brain Oxygen brings about increased levels of the chemical serotonin.  The happiness felt with serotonin is longer lasting. This happiness brings mercy, empathy, a sense of sharing, and a state of being selfless. It raises self-confidence and thus cures depression and anxiety.
Well, for scientists, there is a lot more research to do but the religions have forever advocated the fact that Qualities like patience, satisfaction, positivity, and satisfaction come naturally as a result of meditation.

Meditation detoxes your mind and increases brain power

· Increased Positivity
Negative thoughts are the reason behind depression. Many people think that they won’t achieve success and will fail, even before taking the first step towards their goal. Meditation rejuvenates the brain and promotes positive thoughts. And as our thinking turns positive, so do the actions and one starts achieving victory over the period.

· Natural Stress Stabilizer
Stress is the body’s response to unforeseen adversities. When we encounter immediate threats enhance the level of cortisol, and activates the Autonomic Nervous system. It has been proved in recent studies that regular meditators have lower cortisol levels in their brains, which proves their resilience and insightful nature.

· Promotes emotional health and well-being
Meditation improves self-image and self-worth and thus increases self-confidence. Meditation provides us a chance to introspect.
When we meditate, we get a clear picture of our minds. We become aware of the thoughts that drive our emotions and actions and eliminate the reason for our negativities.

What are the Spiritual benefits of meditation?

Human beings are the treasure house of potentialities and capabilities with the power of their soul. Science believes that we can use only 15-20% of our intellectual capacity. Meditation improves the power of the soul and thus finally one can explore the hidden dimensions and secrets of life.
As Guru Nanak Dev Ji Said, “Jo Brahmande So pinde” Universe lies in the body

With meditation, the brain gets renovated in such a way that the concentration increases significantly. One also becomes exceptionally aware of one’s thoughts and activities and learns to govern the thoughts.
As a person meditates regularly, his conscience becomes clearer gradually. He starts to understand the path of spirituality better. The person becomes more intuitive, more connected to his soul. He gets freedom from the cobweb of countless desires and the ability to achieve what is a legitimate and true need. He develops into becoming a grounded and peaceful person.
When all the above modifications occur in the life of a person, he experiences extreme inner peace and real enjoyment. Thus he eventually becomes free from any kind of stress.

What are the steps of meditation?

– To meditate, sit in a relaxed position.
– You can sit in sukhasana or on the chair
– Calm yourself down
– Close your eyes
– Focus on the point between your eyes and above your nose {Sahasrara chakra}
– Now repeat the Gurumantra continuously
– You can start by sitting for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening.
– Increase this time gradually and practice for 30 min to 1 hour in the morning and evening.

What is the time for meditation?

Mediation can be done at any time of day and at any place. The best results can be obtained when you meditate is 2 to 5 am, called Brahma muhurta as the mind is fresh and environmental air is oxygen-rich at this time.

Even when you are involved in physical work that does not require thinking, you can keep on reciting the chant silently, mentally, whenever possible. In this way prayers and hard work can go hand in hand, resulting in more success.
In the beginning during meditation, your mind will roam. But gradually due to continuous practice, you will achieve concentration and then self-confidence.

A Saint who teaches the true method of meditation

The true meditation is taught by Saint who has practically tested it and teaches it to others.
A True Saint seeks no money or donation in return, does not convert anyone’s religion, never begs or borrows, does not speak ill about anyone, and serves humanity selflessly.

Saint Dr.MSG Insan has blessed more than 65 million people with a method of meditation. Guruji has taught the true path of humanity to these people as well. Those who follow the path as well as meditate regularly experience their intellectual capabilities raised. The quality of life enhances and many experience miracles from time to time. Dera Sacha Sauda is the spiritual organization that helps people get rid of their negativities by connecting with God’s words.

Conserve nature and enjoy it’s beauty forever

It is the call for every sole person living on this globe when it comes to environmental conservation. Conserving the environment is not an option, but a necessity for all of us.
We are born from nature, live with natural resources, and ultimately will become part of nature. So in return, we should also be responsible for utilizing it wisely and doing every effort to save nature. If our environment is safe, we are sheltered and secure. If it downfalls, all of us will end with it.
We owe to the planet likewise we owe towards our occupations and relations. Many of us want to do something for nature, but lack of opportunity or initiative or the knowledge, we lag.
But a campaign can provide us with the right direction and motivation.
Dera Sacha Sauda is an organization that has led various campaigns to protect the environment. One such campaign is Nature Campaign. Let us know more about the same.

Table of contents:

1. It is high time to rejuvenate the planet back to its glorious state.
2. What is Nature Campaign by Dera Sacha Sauda?
3. Dera Sacha Sauda has set jaw-dropping Records.
4. Not only planted, but trees are also looked after as own children
5. Let us all pledge to plant trees regularly.
6. Conclusion

It is high time to rejuvenate the planet back to its glorious state.

Our planet is full of resources. These include wide oceans, dense forests, amazing creatures, blue sky, etc. Some of these resources are renewable and some not. But unfortunately, we have an ever-growing human population that establishes a huge threat to all these resources with its never-ending needs and greed. It is therefore unclear what future generations will find if we continue to exploit all the current resources.
Often, people tend to chop off trees without concern about harmful consequences to the environment. As we all are aware, trees help to conserve soil and water and prevent desertification. They absorb carbon dioxide and store carbon in their biomass. Trees control avalanches and protect coastal areas. Trees remain our best safeguard to combat against the demolition being done by the man around the realm.
Thus it is high time to rejuvenate the planet back to its glorious state.

What is Nature Campaign by Dera Sacha Sauda?

Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa is worldwide famous for its unique initiatives to serve humanity and save the environment.
On 29th April 2007, St. Dr. Gurmeet ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan had initiated a unique campaign named as ‘Nature Campaign’. In this campaign, every follower was instructed to plant at least 12 trees in a year.
One call from Guruji is enough to awaken and shoot the masses into action. Also, the Mega Tree plantation campaign is one of the central initiatives as part of 134 welfare work commenced by Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
The volunteers team up with immense enthusiasm. In various states of the country like Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, etc. duties are assigned to people on the block level. Volunteers do the plantations on roads schools, colleges, cremation sites, religious places, as well as on the sides of streets and canals.

His Holiness is of the firm belief that most of the problems related to the environment can be tackled by more and more trees around us. Trees act like a sponge that engrosses everything that is harming the surrounding. They release fresh oxygen as well as help in dropping the temperatures protecting from global warming. Guruji believes that the good deeds of today provide sweet fruits tomorrow. That is the reason why millions follow him proudly and become a part of his undertaking to refine all the evils and vices from society.
It takes nothing except the will to plant trees. And followers of Dera Sacha Sauda are always ready to do something that can bring a smile to the face of their Guru; Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
Looking at the records, From 2007 till 2020, more than 50 million saplings have been planted and taken care of by volunteers. Their dedication and grace of their Guru have proven it for all.

Dera Sacha Sauda has set jaw-dropping Records

There is a long list of awards, recognitions, and records set by Dera Sacha Sauda in humanitarian activities. Not only India, volunteers all over the world participate in these drives. Dera Branches from Australia, Canada, UK, etc. have received a lot of appreciation and honors.
The Mega Tree Plantation Drive is itself example of various Jaw-Dropping Records.

Under nature campaign, Dera Sacha Sauda has set 3 World Records in tree plantation.

On August 15, 2009, Dera Sacha Sauda registered Guinness World Records in the first tree plantation drive for planting 6,873,451 saplings in 08 hours by 169,920 volunteers in 367 locations. It must be mentioned here that on 15 August 2009, Followers celebrated the birthday of Guruji and Independence day of India in a very novel way by planting 68,73,451 trees in one day. Another Record was made on 15th August 2011 by planting 1,945,535 saplings in just one hour by 340,250 volunteers in 408 locations all over the world.
The unique idea comes from Guruji when he asked the volunteers to plant more trees as a birthday gift. Their devotion was well proved when it turned into a world record. the limitless devoutness of dera volunteers towards the service of humanity makes these records dwarf.
Gestures to His Excellency Guruji, who has induced confidence and courage to undertake welfare works at the world level! The epitomizing courage of these volunteers to help the whole of mankind make the undying image in the eyes of people.

Not only planted, but trees are also looked after as own children

Guruji says that Everybody should plant at least one tree a month. Also, we should treat it as our child. Our children may not become useful to us, but the trees we plant shall serve whole humanity for a long time.
Volunteers plant different kinds of trees like fruiting, medicinal as per requirements of their areas. Thus the volunteers not only plant the saplings but also look after them as their child. They water them regularly and take care of them until these saplings turn into fruitful trees.

Let us all pledge to plant trees regularly

We all need to take proactive steps to save the environment. Everyone has to take care of natural resources. The actual change is all about changing mindsets. Dera Sacha Sauda is setting an example by converting such drives into mass movements. Such campaigns provide an opportunity for every commoner as a beginning to work for mother nature.

Conclusion

Let us all plant a tree to save mother earth.

Top tips to save water on regular basis

For anything and everything to survive, water is a must. From falling from the sky to landing safely on the rocks and finally meeting the ocean, the journey of that drop of water is incredible. Sometimes there are tiny little drops of rain to cheer you up; sometimes it’s just the water-filled in glass. Well sometimes this H2O takes shape of foam to make a little interesting and sometimes it just flows in the drainage. Yet Water is the matter that has no direction but it is graceful as it runs through all the imaginable colors.
It is quite obvious that we all are aware that water is the base and soul of life on earth.
With each passing day, the problem of water scarcity is becoming a major issue. The ever-rising danger of water scarcity is second to none. There is an urgent need to pay attention to conserving water.

Why there is a need to conserve water?

The world population is mounting at a very alarming rate. It is expected that the population is grown by around 2 billion. Thus the global demand for usable water could be up to 30% higher than the present.
According to statistics, the agriculture sector consumes around 60% of global freshwater withdrawals, industries require 30%, 10% goes to domestic use and less than 1% is used as drinking water.
Saving water is not the responsibility of any government or for any single individual. But on the contrary, saving water is a national cause and should be a common practice for every individual.
The scenario is horrible to imagine if the day comes when people have to fight for water resources.
Emily Dickinson once wrote that water is realized by thirst. We don’t actually feel the suffering, until & unless we actually go through it. Thus all of us have to protect water resources so that we can protect our planet.

An organization that leaves no stones unturned in saving the environment

Dera Sacha Sauda has been instrumental in Environmental Protection Saving environment is the utmost priority of the volunteers as well. To see the environment, Dera Sacha Sauda runs a large cleanliness campaign as well as a mega tree plantation drive. More than 40 million trees have been planted till date. Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji is extremely committed to tackling the situation of water scarcity.
His Holiness in His Satsangs encourages the volunteers to limit the use of water and curb water pollution as well. Special care is taken that not a single drop of water is wasted in Dera premises. The wastewater is also recycled and reused by unique methods. Extensive rainwater harvesting systems are laid throughout the Dera premises.
Major Crops grown here are the ones with low water requirements. Drip systems are used here for agriculture purposes. His Holiness says that every drop of water saved can add up to a huge amount if everyone resolves to do so.

Tips to conserve water by Dr. MSG

Saint Dr.MSG has given various tips to conserve water that are listed below.

Use the Water After Bath

A lot of water is wasted while doing showers or taking baths. Well Dr. MSG has suggested a unique way to reuse that water.
For this, dig a pit where water is to be drained. In this pit, put some concrete, stones, then put gravel within it and at last spread sand on all these materials. You have finally prepared a place to collect water within it.
Now in the washroom, use filters under drainage, so that the water that goes through it and finally reaches a pit you prepared comes in a filtered form. This water can be utilized surely for farming purposes.

Collection of Rain Water to Make Showers in agriculture

The drip system in farming is a very popular technique. But here Saint MSG has developed a unique water conservation method in Dera Sacha Sauda that can collect the rainwater at one place and prepare the drip system from it. This can help reduce the quantum of water that is used in agriculture.

Use cups/containers to brush teeth

Most of us have a habit of keeping the tap on while brushing. But do you know, while brushing many liters of waters gets wasted in a few seconds, which can probably fulfill the needs of one-time hydration of a family? For this, Dr. MSG urges to use one glass instead of directly using water from the tap. Because while brushing people forget to close the tap which results in continuous water wastage. So, by using a glass of water while brushing you can save about 250–300 liters of water.

Store Rain Water

Rainwater storage is an efficient technique to save water. But most of us do not practice it. Dr. MSG encourages people to adopt rainwater harvesting. Rainwater can prove as a boon for farming, which can help farmers in the period of drought. The low budget procedure is quite simple suggested by Guruji.
Use the extra space and bore it to make the water tank. Now use thick and big polythene to spread it in the big massive space. Now spread loam soil.

A Pledge to Reduce Water Wastages

It is said that the promise made before a true saint has to be fulfilled in every condition. Guruji makes people promise to serve humanity as the only gift.
Millions of volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda have taken a pledge to reduce wastages and save water in every possible method. These people also encourage others to save water.

Reduce Water Pollution

Apart from these tips, Dera Sacha Sauda has contributed a lot in cleaning rivers to reduce water pollution.
Under the leadership of Dr.MSG, The cleanliness campaign was done to clean the Holy River Ganges along with Haridwar & Rishikesh when more than 5 lacs of volunteers participated in November 1, 2012. Also in these cleanliness drives the primary objective is always to awaken primarily the residents and bring about behavior change to reduce pollution in these rivers.

Let us all join hands to conserve water

As it is said that it is never too late to get started. So let us start from today and take it as our sole responsibility to conserve water. Each drop of water counts. Let us not waste it and not pollute it.

Nurture birds and save their lives and never miss their sweet chirping

The growth of urbanization has profound effects on natural ecosystems. Increases in industrialization result in the vast conversion of forest tracts into markets and residential sectors. We humans; being powerful of all species; have become greedy to dominate the whole planet. Various species of animals and birds have gone extinct to fulfill the needs of humans. This brutality of the human race has put the balance of the ecosystem at stake.
Birds are an important part of our environment. Increasing deforestation, illegal hunting, pollution, etc. are some of the major factors that are life threats for various bird species.

Table of Contents:

1. It has become crucial to save birds
2. The organization that has been on forefront to save birds
3. When the passion of selfless service made a World Record!
4. Who is the inspiration behind such moral acts?
5. Our society needs more helpful hands
6. Conclusion

It has become crucial to save birds

There were times when the omnipresent chirping of sparrows awakened most people in rural as well as urban areas during the morning. But today these sounds are replaced by horns, speakers, etc.

Similarly, the population of Vultures has drastically gone down. They protect and clean our environment as natural scavengers and carrion feeders. Sadly they are on threat of extinction.
Increasing air pollution has led to suffocation as well as various diseases in birds. It has been reported that certain species of migratory birds get lost in their routes due to various environmental factors. Deforestation has made various birds homeless. With the lack of water and food, they are continually getting vanished from the environment. The plight of these innocent birds is beyond our imagination.
Birds aid the environment by aiding the pollination of seeds which gives rise to more trees. Further, birds feed on pests which help in keeping the numbers of these insects in check and thus maintain the food chain. Observing the movements of birds and listening to their chirping acts as tranquilizers that can help control the impact of mental disorders like depression and insomnia. Our future generations will visualize “chidiya rani” in stories only if this massacre continues.
Hence there is an urgent need to step ahead in saving birds and thus ecosystem.

The organization that has been on forefront to save birds

Dera Sacha Sauda is one such organization that is known as leading around the globe in the field of humanitarian activities. Their efforts have gone a long way in saving the planet Earth. They are working round the clock for environmental awareness and to plant more trees.
There have been massive plantation drives under the guidance of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. More than 50 million trees have been planted to date by volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda. Saving trees and forests is like saving the natural abode of these innocent creatures. The volunteers never leave an opportunity to plant more and more trees.
Similarly, Birds Nurturing is one of the 134 humanitarian activities.
Nurturing of Birds- Volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda have together pledged to arrange food and water for the birds on rooftops of their homes.
Followers also place a birdbath on their rooftops. In the summer months of scorching heat, when water tends to be scarce, these baths provide birds with drinking water and allow them to cool down. This movement is followed by volunteers very enthusiastically. Volunteers even arrange bird houses at various spots in their respective places. These bird houses are hung near the pillars, trees, and even in balconies.
Volunteers even distribute bird feeding bowls for free so that other people can also use them on their rooftops.
Further, volunteers also make sure that birds are looked after if hurt. Sometimes birds are hurt by electricity wires, kite strings, or just by any reckless activity. At this moment they pitch in by nursing them or calling for doctors to look after these helpless souls.
Such a spirit to serve is unique and remarkable.

When the passion to serve made Guinness World Record!

Dera Sacha Sauda has registered its name in world records several times in the field of humanity. To spread the message of birds’ nurturing on a large scale, the followers made ‘Largest Birds Nurturing Mosaic’. This mosaic has turned out to be the world’s biggest mosaic. This was beautifully created to deliver the message of the importance of birds and how humans can play a crucial role in saving them. This mosaic highlights the image of birds pecking on food grains. A total of 304 artists contributed towards the creation of this world record of making food grain mosaic.

Who is the inspiration behind such moral acts?

Dera Sacha Sauda is an organization that is dedicated to working for humanity under the leadership of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh JI Insan. Guruji in his holy Satsang teaches people the value of love and compassion towards God’s creations. His Holiness urges people to step ahead for providing relief to innocent animals and birds. Guruji also prohibits people to avoid a non-vegetarian diet. Under the pious grace of Guruji, Dera Sacha Sauda has emerged as an organization that has made records in tree plantation and thus providing wildlife their natural abode. The message of bird protection given by Saint Dr. MSG has also inspired many people in the past, present, and future to create works of absolute wonder.
Saint Dr. MSG is a true humanitarian who takes care of everyone who is in need whether human or animal. Salutes to the true master who has taught millions to march on the track of humanity.

Our society needs more helpful hands

The world is beautiful to live in if we are there for each other and if all take care of each other. Compassion and kindness are necessities and not luxuries. The most valued and sacred moments of our life are those that are filled with a spirit of warm affection and delight. Our society needs more such people who have a sense of humanity so that no life can be taken for granted. Dera Sacha Sauda under the guidance of Dr. MSG is doing great efforts to make this world a better place to live in. The teaching of Saint Dr. MSG is like a ray of hope for innocent creatures who have become victims of human greed. Gratitudes to the messiah of humanity who has made millions of people aware and made their lives joyous, happy, and safe.

Let us become healthy by adopting vegetarianism

For decades there have been various discussions regarding food. Food varies with place, culture, traditions, etc. But the firing topic of debate that has been continued among people is adopting vegetarianism. In India vegetarianism remains today as an ethical issue whereas, in some countries, it is just a matter of availability. Recent years have witnessed that western people are adopting vegetarians enthusiastically whereas Indians are attracted to a non-vegetarian diet.
First let us be clear what a vegetarian diet actually includes; it includes all the plant products mainly their fruits and seeds. It may also include animal products like milk on condition that no animal species is harmed. A true vegetarian diet does not include egg or any egg product.
What you think is the result of what you eat. The quality of food is very crucial for your mental as well as physical health.
But have you ever thought why should one be vegetarian? Why since ages Our religions have supported vegetarianism? Can we get whole nutrition from a vegetarian diet that our body needs?
So let us know some benefits of the intake of a vegetarian diet.

Table of contents:

1. Is non-vegetarian diet more energetic than vegetarian?
2. Vegetarian Diet keeps you away from diseases
3. Vegetarian diet keeps cholesterol in control
4. It lowers the risk of Diabetes
5. It makes your bones and body stronger
6. A vegetarian diet builds your immunity
It helps to reduce obesity
It keeps your skin glowing
It is good for your eyes
It increases your longevity
7. Adopting vegetarianism is good for your mental health
8. Promoting Vegetarianism is saving the ecosystem
9. The place where millions have pledged to shun non vegetarianism
10. Conclusion

Is non-vegetarian diet more energetic than vegetarian?

We generally come across the statement that non vegetarians are healthier than vegetarians. Also people say that consumption of meat is more powerful. Let us break this myth. Take lion and an elephant for example. An elephant or a rhino who depends on grass and plant products is much more powerful and heavier than a lion who is a flesh eater.
Various researchers have found that the consumption of a non-vegetarian diet increases the risk of various diseases. As the natural build-up of the human body is not like carnivorous animals, the consumption of meat may lead to various health hazards. Accumulation of toxins can lead to diseases like cancer, heart diseases, stroke, etc.
Here is a list of plant based products which are highly protein rich.
Tofu
Chickpeas
Lentils
Gram
Soyabean
Almonds
Chia seeds
Hemp seeds etc.

Vegetarian Diet keeps you away from diseases

If you eat fruits or vegetables on a regular basis, the lesser are the chance that there is any type of toxin and chemical accumulation in your body, thus promoting a disease-free life ahead. We, humans, have comparatively longer intestine than the carnivorous animals. So if we eat meat, chicken, pork etc., due to the presence of a larger intestine that food will remain for long hours in our body and it will start producing toxins in our body. These toxins can accumulate in our digestive system or any organ.
This accumulation can further produce various gastrointestinal disorders.

Vegetarian diet keeps cholesterol in control

Vegetarian diets are cholesterol-free. Most cholesterol is present in animal products. Whereas consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables decreases bad cholesterol in the body.
It lowers the risk of Diabetes

A healthy vegetarian diet is nutritious and contains fewer fatty acids. It is easier to absorb. On the other hand, a non-vegetarian diet takes a lot of time to absorb and increases blood sugar immediately after consumption whereas the vegetarian diet maintains a constant level of blood sugar in the body.

It makes your bones and body stronger

Vegetarian diet is more proteinacious than meat. Take soya bean for example, it has more protein than egg and meat. Consumption of a well-balanced diet makes your bones and body strong.

A vegetarian diet builds your immunity

A vegetarian diet plays an important role in building immunity. The stronger the immunity of a person, the stronger is its ability to fight against various infections and diseases. Various immunity boosters include citrus fruits, broccoli, garlic, ginger, spinach, yogurt, almonds, turmeric, papaya, kiwi, etc.
It helps to reduce obesity

Many doctors, researchers, and dieticians have concluded that adopting a vegetarian diet is a good way to minimize the chances of having a stroke or being obese. It has been observed that vegetarians never overeat and are more conscious about their food and diet. Thus, reducing the chances of being obese.

It keeps your skin glowing

The first thing that comes to mind for getting healthy and glowy skin is plenty of water and minerals. Fruits and vegetables that we eat are very rich in minerals, water, fibers, and vitamins, and also have sufficient antioxidants. Because they are water-based, if you eat them raw it can further enhance the intake of nutrients making your skin glowing and healthier.
It is good for your eyes

There is a strong relation between our diet and the risk of developing cataracts. Many researchers proved that this risk is higher in people with a non-vegetarian diet or meat-eaters. And the lowest risk is on vegetarians . A vegetarian diet provides most of the essential vitamins which are otherwise lacking.

It increases your longevity

There are many factors that would contribute to an increased lifetime and adopting a vegetarian diet is one of them you can easily follow. As there is less chance of diseases, your mental as well as physical health can be stabilized well. Thus there is an increases chance of living longer.
Adopting vegetarianism is good for your mental health
According to scientists, there is an element of freshness to most veg. foods, especially when it comes to organic fruits and vegetables. So that is bound to cleanse our minds and keep our thoughts positive. There is a famous saying also a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.
According to Ayurveda, non-vegetarian food is rich in tama guna that is responsible for evil thoughts of mind. Also, Vegetarians have lower scores on depression questionnaires and mood profiles when compared to meat-eaters.

Promoting Vegetarianism is saving the ecosystem

If we want to decrease the human impact on our planet, the simplest and cheapest thing anyone can do is to eat less meat or even stop eating meat. The way animals are bred for meat consumption is giving rise to many interlinked human and ecological problems. The amount of resources used in poultry farms and slaughterhouses is much more than that on vegetarian diets.
Thus it makes the vegetarian diet more economical and cheaper.
The harm that occurs in the food chain is too much. Various species are on verge of extinction because one of the reasons is blind hunting and slaughtering. Cruelty towards animals is unethical. We, humans, are supreme of all species of the ecosystem but that does not mean we have the right to disturb the balance of the ecosystem for our own pleasures.

The place where millions have pledged to shun non vegetarianism
Dera Sacha Sauda is a place where millions of people have pledged to shun non vegetarian diet. Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan in his holy Satsang inspires people to adopt vegetarianism. His holiness makes people realize how murdering other species for our own taste is unethical and cruel. Guruji also reminds people that all religions prohibit butchery and brutality of animals. Inspired by Guruji now millions have adopted vegetarianism as well as they make others aware about the same.

Conclusion

So let us all stay healthy by adopting vegetarianism

Once, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj was visiting Nejia Ashram with some volunteers. His holiness rested under the shed of a tree for a while and said, “Neither you nor us, and not even this tree will see that crowd of people coming here. Each type of fruits and dry fruits will be planted, and many more buildings and constructions will be here.” This was the time when there was sand all over that area and no habitation and vegetation. But as it is said that predictions of a true saint never go wrong.
So on 24th May 1993, Revered Guruji Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan started construction of Shah Satnam Ji Dham. Guruji himself designed the architecture of the ashram. Many devotees were volunteerly involved in this sewa along with their tractors and trolleys. The passion among them kept on ascending under the holy grace of Revered Guruji who remained with the volunteers in scorching heat without any shed of a tree or tent and provided them the supernatural grace. All the atmosphere was imbued with spirituality.
