Many were inspired because of him and took sports as a career in their life.

Importance of Sports

Sports have been a place for enjoyment, a place to learn new things and to experience new environment. Many people think that sports are not at all important in one’s life but this is not true! Sports is as important as it is important to be educated in life. It is a way to shape our mind and body. It has infinite benefits in one’s life. Nowadays, children lack confidence and because of this, they lose many opportunities coming towards them everyday. And sports helps to make our character strong and with this, we gain self-confidence. Health Benefits from Sports

Good health produces positive thoughts. So our healthy mind & body can win anything in life. With a good diet, we can keep ourselves healthy at some point. But to keep ourselves 100% healthy we should adopt the habit of daily exercise or any games, which will energize our body. If we make a habit of our children to play games of their interest, then at a young age, they can become great sportspersons.
Sports keep a person healthy. Last year in ‘2019, ‘Fit India Movement’, A nationwide campaign was run, to get people to keep themselves healthy. But this year due to the spread of Covid-19, there is no campaign running about health. But our real hero’s our sports persons can give a message to our country, that by practicing some exercise & playing games.

By seeing all this on this National Sports Day, we all should make a promise to ourselves that we will do regular exercise and the Indoor games till the time Covid-19 has not ended. It will help us to keep ourselves happy & healthy.

Value of sports and games in our daily routine life

Games have great importance in our day to day life. It’s a well-known proverb that “Good health is the sister of beauty”. Let’s talk about an organization that is popularly known as Dera Sacha Sauda who has set its milestones in the field of sports. Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan plays 32 national and international sports. Guruji himself guides and gives training to most of the students who have brought laurels to the nation. If we want to taste the fruit of success, one should be healthy. To fill this requirement, Guru Ji motivates all the players to eat a vegetarian diet that is full of protein, calcium, and vitamins. Eat Soybean that is rich in protein. Say no to the drugs.

Games launched by Saint Dr. MSG

Guruji revealed a new game ‘Gul-stick’ for the first time in front of the world during the inauguration of 8th “Garv Diwas” of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S ‘ Welfare Force Wing. This game is an amazing combination of GilliDanda, the game being played in the rural area for ages. Guruji transformed the previous game ‘GilliDanda’ into ‘Gulstick’ in which bat is replaced with two types of sticks, SS stick (stop stroker stick) and S stick (Stroker stick). All the outdoor sports are played in SMG Sports Complex under the true guidance of Guruji.

Why students call Guruji as “papa coach”?

As we earlier discussed, Guruji himself played over 32 national and international sports that’s why he always gives training and small tips to sportsperson to improve their performance. Students lovingly called Guruji as “papa coach”. It’s noticeable that players trained by Saint Dr. MSG have brought laurels to the world in different sports like Yoga and Roller skating hockey. Guruji has trained both boys and girls so that they can bring the maximum number of medals at the Olympics. Guruji recommends that a player who practices the method of meditation on daily basis, he gets victory in every field of life.

MSG Bhartiya Khel Gaon

Dera Sacha Sauda has gifted a valuable gift to the sports world in the form of “MSG Bhartiya Khel Gaon”. The main motive of building this huge sports stadium in Sirsa is to encourage talents with international techniques and quality training.
MSG Sports Village focuses on supporting the new players so that they will be able to bring Gold, silver, and bronze at the Olympics. International players like boxer Vijender Singh, shooting champion Manoj Kumar, Union Minister Rajayvardhan Singh Rathore and the coach of the Indian Railways team Devendra Singh might be visiting here to give training to the sportsmen. Over 2 dozen sports activities are played in this Khel Gaon

In the MSG Bhartiya Khel Gaon has international Cricket Stadium, big lawn Tennis courts , Roller skating stadium, Volleyball and Hockey courts, Gymnastic area, Gun shooting range and a Netball Stadium. Not only this, there is a huge pool where sportspersons are trained for the games like swimming, water polo, and diving. Along with that, there is an all jumping facility where Games such as long jump, High jump, Triple jump are practiced by the players. Judo hall is the center of attraction where girls are trained to play martial arts to secure themselves. It also has a 400 meters standard track which is used by the athletes.

Medals and Achievements

Guruji’s contribution to sports is commendable. Five sportspersons from Dera Sacha Sauda have won the BHIM AWARD which is the most prestigious sporting award in the state of Haryana. Sportspersons have won 31 gold, 19 silver, and 13 bronze medals in international world cups. Some of them have won 22 gold, 40 silver, and 33 bronze medals at Asian Games. At the CBSE level, these sportspeople have 735gold and 1181 silver medals.
102 sportspersons from this famous educational institution are working in different Government services from Sports Quota.
GURUJI himself appreciated the winner performer with medals that are diamond-encrusted and made of pure gold and silver.

Conclusion

Last but not least I must say every necessary facility is provided to the players by Saint MSG whether its techniques or quality training to boost sporting talent. The players who are hardworking and follow the right technique, power, and speed will surely taste the triumph.

Giving gift of home to homeless

We are seeing around us, every person has the dream of their own home. But many are unable to fulfill their dream due to financial conditions & lack of resources, and in most of the cases after struggling their whole life, people will die with the dream of their own home. In this selfish era, people are only thinking about their own comfort, and are never thinking to do something for destitute, who are bound to sleep on footpaths, under the bridges, on railway stations and who don’t have any source of earnings. In this helplessness condition, many are bound to live in slum areas, where they don’t have proper homes.
And in other side destitute senior citizen couples & widows who don’t have any earning source, they can’t even dream for their own homes. Many times, government’s plans are failed to reach them & help them to build their dream home.

To ease the pain of these destitute people, one social welfare organization came forward to help them & to make their dream come true.
Yes, there is an organization which is helping them to live a better life, and I am here to tell you about the great initiative which is taken by this socio-welfare organization. So, be with me to read more about the initiative & that organization and the inspiration source who has inspired them to do so.

Table of Contents:
1) Homeless people’s dreams for their own Home
2) An initiative of “Homely Shelter” For destitute
3) ‘Gift Of Home’ for number of Homeless
4) The social welfare organization who has taken initiative of “Homely Shelter”
5) A little history about the organization
6) Inspiration source to do humanitarian works for mankind

Let’s see how homeless people get helped to build their dream home-

Homeless people’s dreams for their own home

Homeless are those who are wandering from one place to another & not staying at one place. As we know that many people in various states and districts who don’t have even roof on their heads, and government has made many plans for welfare of the destitute, and started many policies for homeless people; but inspite of all this, it is not ending from root. Still there are approximately 1.8 Million homeless people in India, and 0.15% of total population worldwide. This data shows that these people don’t even have their own land to build their dream homes.
Secondly, there are many destitute senior citizen couples who are not living with their children or who are alone and widows are also alone, nobody is there to help them to build their own dream home.

An initiative of “Homely Shelter” for destitute

In our country, millions of people are poor & homeless, who can’t afford to build their own home. To help these destitute & homeless people, “Homely Shelter” Initiative have been taken, under this initiative ordinary people will contribute from their hard earned money to help these poor people. They will use that collected fund to construct home for these destitute and provid them ‘ready to move in homes’, These people are not only building home, but also providing land to needy people and then build the home for these destitutes.
If these needy families don’t have any earning source then they are also provided with the source of income, to earn their livlihood through it, because everyone has three basic necessities to live the life: clothing, food & shelter, and here these all necessities are completed by these real heroes Of humanity.

‘Gift of Home’ for number of Homeless

In today’s time, either it’s rich or needy, everybody needs a roof on their head for security & privacy and everyone does have a dream of their own home. Rich people can build their luxurious home as per their comfort, but for needy ones, it’s near to impossible to build their own dream home, because many times it’s hard for them to afford two meals in a day, but humanity is not ended from people’s heart, it’s still alive. There are people who felt the pain of these homeless and decided to help them. They all came together and their spirit to serve humanity became the hope for that hopeless people, who can’t even imagine that they spend rest of their life in their own home. But this dream came true and under the initiative of Homely Shelter, more than 1600 homes have been constructed for these homeless & needy people.
These people are real heroes for them, who take them out from the sorrows and bring happiness in their lives and spread smiles on their faces.
The volunteers of DSS have been constructing the homes for widows, differently abled people (who are not able to earn their livelihood), alone senior citizen couples, destitute. For this incredible work, common people who are witnessed of this work appreciate it, and doing salute to their spirit of humanity. They are filled with this spirit of humanity by their spiritual Guru.

The social welfare Organization taken initiative of “Homely Shelter”

DSS achieved many records in welfare works. Many of them have been recognised in Guinness book of world records.
The volunteers are contributing in welfare funds from their hard earned money which is used for welfare works & to meet the requirements of needy persons.

A little history about the organization

This Socio-Spiritual organization was established by Saint Mastana Bilochistani on April 29, 1948 at Sirsa, Haryana, and this organization welcomes all people without discriminating in castes & religions, it is the confluence of all religions.

Inspiration to do humanitarian works for mankind

The True Master of humanity, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan is Chief of Dera Sacha Sauda & the inspiration for His millions of followers for doing the humanitarian works selflessly. He has imparted Method Of Meditation to more than 65 million people and started Jaam-E-Insan to make them True Human being, and inspired them to follow 47 rules of it. And He has taught to all of them that ‘We are one & Humanity is our caste’.
He has initiated 134 humanitarian works to serve the mankind selflessly, and many have been recorded in Guinness Book of world records, like in Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, Mega Cleanliness campaign (till now 32 mega cleanliness campaign have been conducted), etc.

Conclusion

At the end I just want to sum up this by requesting you all that we all should put maximum efforts to serve humanity & help the needy. If one can afford 3 meals of day, then they can do help to people who are suffering from any type of pain mentally & physically. These are the teachings of Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. He taught us to do regular meditation, serve people selflessly and love the creatures of God & God will love you in return.

Women’s Equality Day 2020

The topic of gender inequality has become a burning issue all over the world including India since the last decades. A long struggle and various movements all over the world have brought women to raise their voices for equal rights.
Though Indian religion and scriptures worship women as goddess but continuous deterioration and ignorance led to injustice against women for centuries.
U.S. observes 26 august as women equality day to recognize the dignity of women and taking appropriate steps for the same.

Table of contents:

  1. Why is there a need for women equality?
  2. What can be done for women empowerment?
  3. Phenomenal steps to protect female dignity
  4. Conclusion

Why is there a need for women equality?

Every nation across the globe, regardless of how developed has a background of women abuse and injustice.
There has been a continuous fight and struggle by women even for basic human rights.
While the western nations are as yet making headway, underdeveloped nations like India despite so rich culture are far behind in Women Empowerment.
There was a time when women were treated like ‘objects’ that can be sold and bought.
For many centuries, women in India remained within shackles of the four walls of their household. They were dependent on men.
Although the Indian constitution provides equal rights for all, but still there are places where women are victims of abuse and injustice.
From domestic violence to female infanticide, this gender – from an unborn womb to a women faces all. And further, we can not deny the fact that although constitution has laws to protect, rape incidents have increased.
Women in India are at risk for honor killings. The mentality in families is that a girl may end her life in the event if she carries any disgrace to the reputation of their heritage.
In this male-dominated society in India, still many girls sacrifice their dreams, live their lives in forced marriages.
Speaking about equality, the freedom to take decision and even in your own family is still a fantasy for many.
Any activity that makes a female feel inferior and harms her self-respect is abuse. A woman in India is prone to rape, is being molested, has to be security conscious, is being HARASSED and yet She is being SILENCED.
Many women feel these continuous pressures while many have become accustomed to being treated inferior to men.
Equality is a fundamental human right as well as it is a necessary base for a peaceful, flourishing and sustainable world.
Thus, there is a need to take steps to protect female rights and dignity.

What can be done for women empowerment?

India is a country where girls are worshiped as goddesses.
Durga pooja, kanjak pooja, etc. festivals are celebrated to mark the glory of being a woman.
But on the other hand, also denies the basic rights of a girl child. We praise them as our mother, sister, and wife but treat them as our slaves.
We as people and government must both meet up to get it going.
We all must start with our family. We must provide equal opportunities and freedom.
The government must lay down strict rules and punishment for those who are involved in any type of crime against women.
Physical and mental Training for young women must be made mandatory with the goal that women can get literate to make an independent life for themselves.

Phenomenal steps to protect female dignity

The goal to achieve a gender-equal world requires social innovations that are for women and as well as for men and leave no one behind. Well there is an organization called Dera Sacha Sauda which has set remarkable milestones for women upliftment and gender equality. Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan initiated many welfare activities that begin with the journey of the womb and takes care of girl and women all through their various stages of life.

  1. Preventing Female Feticide
The poor mentality of some ignorant people led to the birth of this evil malady in India. Guruji in His holy Satsang, makes millions of people to stop female foeticide. He conveys the images of the tiny unborn daughter being cut to pieces in extremely powerful sermons. Following His sermons, millions have realized the importance of a girl child and pledged never to commit such a crime.
The Dera followers even make others aware by conducting
    awareness rallies.
  2. Royal Daughters
Guruji adopted many girls who were victims of societal conspiracies that forbid them from the right to live as human beings. Some were thrown away as discards at birth itself. These girls were rescued and sheltered in a habitat by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji. These girls were called “Shahi Betiyan” and they live in a heavenly abode called “Shahi Betiyan Basera”. Guruji has adopted about 23 such girls whom He has given His name of lineage and many of these girls have emerged out as national medalists in sports & toppers in academics.
  3. Child Protection
Preventing and making people aware of child labor and encouraging education.
  4. The Bud Of Knowledge
Promoting girl’s education through awareness and providing facilitation. Providing free education to poor and underprivileged children. Developing spiritual as well as All Round Personality through Education.
  5. Genuine Guidance
Guiding people about the harmful impacts of child marriages.
  6. Empowered Women
Setting training centers for giving self-defense techniques to girls and women. These training centers to be set for making women physically and mentally strong.
  7. Crown Of The Lineage
In our patriarchal society, a marriage of a girl means that she moves to her in-laws, leaving her parents who raised her in the stumble.
Under his campaign to end gender inequality, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji has started this new concept of marriage “Kul ka crown”, where the bride will take her baraat to the groom’s house and bring the groom to her house after the wedding.
A GIRL SHOULD NOT BE REARED AS A WEAKLING. THEY SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP TO BE STRONG. IF A SON can take THE LINEAGE FORWARD, WHY A DAUGHTER COULD NOT DO THE SAME – SAINT DR. GURMEET RAM RAHIM SINGH JI INSAN
  8. Giving Fire to The Loved Ones’ Dead Mortal Bodies
This ritual followed by Hindus is strictly for the sons of the family. Girls were not allowed to go for the cremation of the deceased family members and could not lend a shoulder for the same, this has been changed by Guru Ji to enthuse enormous confidence in the Girls & they are coming forward for the same.
  9. FLIGHT OF SPIRIT

Arranging free treatment and marriages of girls who are victims of acid attacks. Guruji has also laid the foundation of a skin bank to aid these victims.

  1. SHUBHDEVI
Revered Guru Ji adopts the girls entrapped in forced prostitution as His daughters and name them as “ShubhDevi”, gets them medically treated and rehabilitate them with the social mainstream by making arrangement of their marriage. 17 such marriages have already been performed in Dera Sacha Sauda.
  2. LIBERATION FROM CURSE
    Endorsing dowry-free marriages.

Conclusion

The biggest change for the society is changing mindsets. Change has to start from each one of us for it to be accepted widely. This would true equality in a world full of inequalities. Let’s change. Let’s pledge not to stop our girl child from growing. Let’s empower women. Let’s treat them equal.

Raksha Bandhan 2020: Importance of the day and duties of siblings towards each other

Raksha Bandhan is the festival which is popular in our culture and celebrated for the bond of love between brothers and sisters. In India in August every year, this rite is performed by brothers and sisters and sisters tie amulet or cotton bracelet on the wrists of brothers with the promise to get protection from them in their lives and in return get some monetary and others gifts from brothers.
This ocassion is celebrated on full moon of karakata in India. This bracelet or amulet brings happiness for the brothers and sisters because this festival is purely dedicated to the relationship of siblings.

Table of Contents:
1. Importance of Raksha Bandhan for us
2. Celebration of Raksha Bandhan
3. Duties of siblings towards each other
4. Silly fights and strong relation of siblings
5. Celebrate the love of brother and sister for whole life

Importance of Raksha Bandhan for us

It is really significant for the brothers sisters as brothers are the saviours of the sisters. As brothers are considered the whole life supporters so Raksha Bandhan strengthens their ties more. Brothers help sisters in all thick and thin financially as well as with love. Rakhi serves for the one promise which is given by brothers to their sisters that they will protect them from all hurdles and harsh situations of life. Before Rakhi celebration, every sister move towards markets to get the best Rakhi for her brothers and has great exhilaration for this day. The newly wedded sisters have great excitement for this festival because they come to celebrate it from their in laws family.

Celebration of Raksha Bandhan

In India, all festivals are enjoyed in the presence of the all family members because it enhances the charm of ocassion. Rakhi is observed in the presence of parents. Sisters burn the earthen lamp in plate in belief to keep all darkness away from the life of brothers and then do the Tilak to brothers and then tie a Rakhi on their wrists and then offer some sweets or fruits. This ritual reminds every brother about some duty towards sister which are:

1. Promise to protect her
Every sisters seeks bond of care, love and protection from brother. So in this context, brothers saves her sister from all bad times and situation or helps her to get out of it.

2. Guiding about right and wrong

Along with protection, brother should also guide her sisters about right and wrong. This is equally implemented on sisters that they should guide their brothers about the bad things and keep them away from bad habits which can spoil the life of him as well as family.

3. Be honest towards each other

In the materialistic era, every relationship is getting faded in the world. So it is responsibility of each brother and sister to be honest towards their relationship and their duties for each other.

Brothers and sisters are united not only via blood relation but nowadays some boys and girls become brother and sister of each other by tieing Rakhi to each other. They also keep all the duties of this relation.

Silly fights and strong relation of siblings

We all know about the silly fights of brothers and sisters in their childhood even before the marriage of sisters, but when the sisters leave their maternal homes and go to in laws family at that time brothers feels alone and helpless because he doesn’t want to get separated from her. So the real observersance of this relationship is kept after the marriage of brother and sisters. So both should help, support and guide each other in all conditions of life. Nowadays the relationship are breaking on the monetary terms but I think both should be the saviours for each other.

Celebrate the love of brother and sister for whole life

Raksha Bandhan is not only meant for single day. The perserverance of the love, care and support should be prevalent for all year and life between each other. Some people celebrate this day as only festival but they should be true towards this bond of love and care. All should follow the trueness of the relationship of brothers and sisters because siblings can enjoy the best ties if they love and care for each other for life.

Parent’s Days Special

Right from our birth, the warmth of a mother’s love and the sense of security of a father’s embrace is what surrounds us. The caressing touch builds a strong connection between the parents and the baby, so much that within a few weeks, the child starts identifying the parents’ odor, touch and look. They’re the child’s angels, care takers, teachers, playmates and what not! The baby imitates them, makes weird sounds which cheers the parents up and the entire home gets illuminated with love and laughter. With a child, all the mother and father are also reborn as it is only the arrival of the child which makes them ‘parents’ from just a couple.

Parents’ day

Parental wisdom and unconditional love

Before the birth of a child, the mother carries the child in the womb and goes through all of that with a smile. Once the child is born, the overwhelming journey of parenthood starts. Ask any new parent about how they spend their day and they’ll tell you the time just flies. Parents devote full time to their child and celebrate each act of their baby. The mother bears all the sleepless and uncomfortable nights just so that the baby sleeps peacefully. The father takes care of the mother, of the finances and starts chalking out plans for the secure future of the baby. As the child grows up, the life of parents revolves only around him or her, and years go by.

Parents age, child grows up

When a child enters teenage and adulthood, he goes out, builds a mindset and gets new experiences. He meets people with different backgrounds and upbringing, and starts comparing his life to other’s. Throughout the course of interaction, his character builds around his peers and his interaction with parents reduce. His opinions are influenced by his age mates. To deal with such situations, it becomes important for parents to share an open relationship with the child. The child should not be afraid of sharing his feelings with the parents. With consistent efforts, the parent-child relation can strengthen. But with lack of efforts, the relation can get strained.

Indian culture of lifelong care and love

Indian culture has always taught to respect parents. In childhood, parents take care of the baby’s every need and put their desires at stake to provide for the child. As the parents age, it is children’s duty to take care & support their parents like their own kids. Life comes full circle. The Indian family values are world renowned for the same reason.

Worldly and Spiritual wisdom

Parents can only guide a child the way they have seen and experienced life. Due to changing times, there comes generation gap between children & parents. Hence, the child is unable to get answers to all his doubts from his parents and often gets misled by his peers. Message to Youth by Saint Dr. MSG

Saint Dr. MSG motivates youth to always respect parents. Even if thinking doesn’t align, one must never disregard them no matter what the situation is. Instead, do great work and if the world gets to know your parents by your name, then their debt will be paid off. For married people, he suggests that every husband wife are obliged to give respect and care to each other’s parents, to avoid arguments in the house, so that the children also get the right message. He also encourages the so called responsible young adults who are stuck in temporary love affairs, put their parents’ lives at risk and hence can end up spoiling their lifelong efforts, to make sensible decisions. And, it is only due to the divine wisdom and guidance of Saint Dr MSG that about 4.5 crore youngsters pay highest regards to their worldly parents throughout the life and make their parenthood successful.
