World Population Day 2020

11 July is the day established to zoom in the issues related to overpopulation of the world, as this count is increasing with every passing day, month and year and creating some really challenging situations for world.

So this day is celebrated every year to aware the masses about the worsening effects of overpopulation.

Table of Contents:

  1. Introduction
  2. Initiatives of Dera Sacha Sauda
  3. Why these initiatives are needed now?

Initiatives of Dera Sacha Sauda

There are a number of efforts and ways that are taken to control this rise in population which is the major cause of many problems of the world today like poverty, unemployment, crime, etc. Number of international and national organisations are working hard to tell people about the necessity of population control. Some of them are doing really appreciative work in the field and guiding people about harms of population incline and their efforts are making a real difference.

Dera Sacha Sauda has started a campaign against overpopulation and gender inequality and initiated various initiatives regarding this which are influential for people.

  1. to have one Child

To check population, Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers, with the guidance of Saint Dr. MSG have guided people to have one child, whether it is a girl or a boy. Saint Dr. MSG has coined the word for couples that ‘We are one and we will have one”, meaning couples are mutually considered as one and they should have one child so that they can give him/her a good life and can make their child educated and settled person in life, otherwise only two children are enough in one family. If this guidance will be followed by the people of world, then it can help to control the population explosion.

  1. Pledge to control population

Millions of Dera followers have taken pledge under the guidance of Saint Dr. MSG to plan a one child family to control the constantly increasing population. So it is a really effective step to deal with this present plight due to exceeding world population.

  1. Initiative against Gender discrimination

In this male dominated society, women still have to undergo various kinds of humiliation. The birth of a girl child is still not celebrated and there are a number of people whose wish to have boy child leads to birth of multiple children, thereby increasing the population. So to change this mindset, Dr. MSG have begun one unique step to lead the lineage with girl child. So the family of only single girl child need not worry because the girl will be bringing the boy to her home after marriage.

This decision is taken with mutual understanding of both families and only that boy comes to the family of girl who has other sibling to manage the duties of his family. He comes and joins the girl’s family, accepts it as his own and fulfills all the responsibilities as a son of the house by his willingness. This initiative is called Crown of Lineage which is a really strong hit to the orthodox thinking of society.

  1. Various steps to help women

There are many illiterate women who are not financially independent living in rural areas. To make them independent, Dera Sacha Sauda has started various works and training sessions for them which are totally free of cost. In these training sessions, women are trained about many different work skills; after that many opportunities are present for them to stand on their own for their own livelihood. At Dera Sacha Sauda, during medical check-up camps, guidance about safe pregnancy and overpopulation effects is also given to women.

Apart from this, there are the facilities for poor pregnant women for their and baby’s nourishment, nutritious food and medication is provided to them free of cost. Proper counseling about safe pregnancy is given to them.

  1. Awareness Campaign

Rallies and awareness seminars are conducted to tell people about overpopulation and how it is creating troubles for existing and upcoming generations. Focus on meditation is given in these seminars which is the key to instill goodness, satisfaction and patience in human beings so that they can lead a happy and content life. During rallies and seminars, the rural areas are visited and people are guided by the Dera followers about ills of overpopulation.

Why these guidelines and initiatives are needed now?

Ever increasing population is an alarming situation. It is true that population is an important resource but with its increased count, it has become a problem. Overpopulation will give rise to various issues which will be difficult and challenging to handle for any nation. Some of the problems which will be faced by world if population will not be under control are given below:

  1. Overpopulation will bring poverty
  2. Crime will increase in the society.
  3. Resources will be burdened
  4. Unemployment will give rise to crime.
  5. More population will produce more pollution on earth.
  6. Numerous problems will emerge for world and it will induce the chances of world war.

So population should be under control otherwise it will bring the growth of any economy, nation or the whole world to a halt. So the initiatives of Dera Sacha Sauda are really significant and effective to deal with these issues. These guidelines should be followed on national as well as international level, so that the overpopulation issue can be handled, along with it other big issues like gender inequality will be sorted. And when equal dignity will be provided to women, then crimes against females will also reduce to a great extent. So pledge to step up on this World Population Day and do the needful.

Guru Purnima: A Guru is the torchbearer of worldly and spiritual wisdom

A Guru is a person for the world, but He is whole world for the disciple!

Table of contents:

1. True meaning of Guru

2. A Guru who has millions of followers

3. Not just spirituality, Guruji taught how to live in mortal world as well

4. Lakhs of people stay hungry to feed others

5. Guruji reformed the lives of girls trapped in prostitution and helped them

6. The true method of meditation, a blessing by Guruji

7. Gratitude

True meaning of Guru

The true meaning of this word is deep. The word ‘Guru’ is made of two words- Gu and Ru. The meaning of Gu is darkness and Ru is light so true Guru is the one who lightens the torch of knowledge in the darkness of ignorance. Then comes the role of a Guru in our life! Well! The role of a true Guru is beyond our understanding as He teaches us every right thing and drives us away from every bad thing! We just need to trust Him. That simple!

A Guru who has millions of followers

There is a spiritual Guru in India, who has more than 65 million followers! Oh yes! You read the figure right. Millions of people are connected to Him. He gives method of meditation to the people and it is that God’s words, practicing which a person’s life changes in an unimaginable ways.

They are doing such welfare works which you can’t even imagine! They donate kidney while living and they don’t stop here, these people have signed up for voluntary posthumous body donation and eye donation! Like, This true Guru has actually made people understand that donating body is a great service as it helps find cure of many diseases and these people were able to shun superstitions related to disposal of body and are happily donating. This amazing, marvellous true Guru is none other than one and only Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

Not only spirituality, Guruji taught how to live in mortal world as well

Guruji has taught millions of people how to live their life apart from connecting them to spirituality. He guides them related to the things in mortal world like how to take care of health, how to maintain a great relationship with your children, how to take care of parents and not abandon them, how to do everything right basically! He has given so many health tips which have helped so many people. Like! A thankyou is very small in front of what He has and is doing for this world.

Lakhs of people stay hungry to feed others

These followers practice once a week fast, stay hungry and donate that day’s food to needy people. Have you heard anything like this before? Well! At least I haven’t apart from Dera Sacha Sauda! Are these people are made of some different skin? Well no, but definitely very strong willpower!

Guruji reformed the lives of girls trapped in prostitution and helped them

Shubh Devi is the name given to such girls by Guruji himself and millions have adopted this name. Guruji rescued girls from this filthy trap, adopted them as His own daughters, get them medically treated and get them married to young and literate boys of marriageable age. So many boys came forward to marry such girls on one call of Guruji and so many families came forward to adopt these girls. These young boys also adopt the child of the girl, if any, as their own child. Something never heard of, never seen before has happened in Dera Sacha Sauda, maybe the only organization in the whole world who made this possible because of only and only Guruji Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

The true method of meditation, a blessing by Guruji

Guruji gave the method of meditation to more than 65 million people all over the world and connected them to God. These people practice this method and are full of willpower because of that and as a result, their thinking capacity has increased, they are living happily and healthy.

– Increased willpower leads to more immunity to diseases and people have been able to defeat even cancers of terminal stages.

– With increased thinking capacity, people have been able to solve their problems by themselves and have become tension-free.

You know what! This method of meditation is literally fantastic as no one has to go anywhere like jungle to practice it. One can practice it at home and in any position they want, while lying, sitting, doing work, walking! It is amazing! You can do your work and can remember God side by side. Just wow.

This method of meditation has proved as a key to all the problems!

Gratitude

Have you ever heard about such a organisation and such a Guru? I guess not! After all these blessings, why wouldn’t these disciples be eager to wish their true master on Guru Purnima! Each and every disciple is glad to be His disciple and pays greetings to the True Guru!

Wake up call on this International Plastic Bag Free Day 2020

Our day starts with a plastic toothbrush in our hands and ends just the same! The ease of plastic processing and its inexpensive cost has led to the usage of plastic in such a way that they’ve have become an inevitable component of our daily life. We are surrounded by plastics in household items, shopping bags, even cars!

Plastic bags have become a very common commodity. These are given for free after the purchases at the vegetable shops or grocery shops.
But the reality is that although our lives have become comfortable and easy with the use of plastic, but plastics are like toxins causing slow cancer in our lives.

Table of contents:

  1. Use of plastic is hazardous
  2. What is “ bye-bye ethene”?
  3. What are alternatives to plastics?
  4. Dera Sacha Sauda is playing key role in protecting Mother Earth
  5. Conclusion

 Use of plastics is hazardous

No doubt, polythene bags are light and easy to use, but their dangerous hazards demand a complete ban on their use.

 Plastics are non-biodegradable
A Non-Biodegradable material is a kind of substance that cannot be broken down by natural organisms or any natural process. These substances do not degrade easily. Non-biodegradable substances cannot be handled easily. These cannot be decomposed or dissolved by natural agents. They remain on earth for thousands of years without any degradation. Plastics can take upto almost 5000 years for the degradation to take place.
Hence the danger caused by them is also more serious.

 Plastic bags are a threat to marine life
The adverse health effects plastic causes on marine life are irrevocable. The plastic bags can clog our waterways, and are also very harmful toxin for the aquatic life. Marine animals ingest, and get tangled up in plastic. Hundreds of thousands of seabirds may ingest plastic that float on the surface. They choke, get internal injuries and die.

 Plastics make soil infertile

The plastic bags on interaction with soil kill various eco-friendly microbes and diminish the fertility. Plastic bags littered carelessly are fed upon by dogs, cows, etc. This can block their digestive system and ultimately render them a slow death. So the use of plastic bags is very dangerous to animals. The dumping yards become the breeding grounds of micro-organisms, mosquitoes and flies, thereby causing life-threatening diseases.

 Plastic create havoc in human life
Humans are a part of the ecosystem. Hence, any disturbance in the ecosystem will affect humans too. Packaging of food items like groceries and fruits in plastic bags can add carcinogenic agents in eatables. Use of plastics can be one of the reasons of increasing no of cancer cases. Hence plastics are like a toxin affecting our lives gradually.

 Plastics – a threat to mother earth
Plastic bags, though useful in many ways, have proved to be very dangerous to the environment. The manufacturing of plastics involves the emission of greenhouse gases causing air pollution and global warming.

 WHAT IS “BYE BYE ETHENE”?

 Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa is an organization that works round the clock for the betterment of society.
 Regarding the worldwide use of plastics and its major threats, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan initiated a mass awareness campaign.
 He encourages everyone to come forward and make efforts to save mother earth.
 The volunteers spare no effort to protect mother earth. Encouraged by Guruji, these people consider the whole planet as their home.
 Guruji in his holy Satsang, inspired his millions of his followers to pledge against the use of plastic bags. They pledged together to avoid the use of plastic bags and switch to cloth bags.
 These people encourage others regarding this pollution via various rallies and campaigns.
 On various social media platforms, the volunteers have put various efforts to aware the masses. Hence ‘bye-bye ethene’ is a campaign started by Guruji himself to make the world free of plastic.
 The pious teachings of Guruji showed a way to millions so that they can realise their duties towards the planet they live on.

What are the alternatives to plastic bags?

If you are concerned about mother earth and are looking forward to remove polythene bags from your life, here are some of the alternatives:

 Jute bags
Jute or hessian bags are a very good option. They are made from naturally biodegradable vegetable fibers. They are stronger, quite durable and can be used again and again.
Jute is also a natural resource collected from plants.

 Paper bags
When it comes to degradation and eco friendliness, paper bags are a good option. Paper bags can be recycled or composted.

 Cotton bags
Nowadays, cotton bags or canvas bags are also available in the market. They’re washable and biodegradable – you can even cut them up and add them to your compost.

 Homemade shopping bags
The best method to avoid the use of plastic bags is to make your bags. Find some old clothes like your t-shirts or jeans and stitch a bag on your own. This will reduce some pressure on the environment, as well as the best reuse of your waste clothes.

Dera Sacha Sauda is playing key role to protect Mother Earth

 Along with the 134 humanitarian activities done by Dera Sacha Sauda, this organization has set up milestones in its campaigns to save the environment.
 Be the tree plantation drives every year, or the cleanliness campaigns, volunteers under the guidance of Guruji have made world records.
 The volunteers from not only India participate in such events, rather these campaigns are done on a worldwide level. The beauty of these movements is that these people and even Guruji works selflessly, to protect humanity.
 According to Guruji, the tag of “Dirty India” given by foreigners must be cleaned. He even urges the government to lay down strict rules against those who try to pollute the environment.
 Dera Sacha Sauda has set milestones in cleanliness campaigns and bye-bye ethene is one part of such initiatives.

 Conclusion

Let’s all pledge together to completely stop single use plastics, especially plastic bags, and start using the alternatives.

Father’s day 2020

FATHER- It’s not only a word but synonym of life for a child. His aura is the securest place for the child. Father’s day is the day to honor the fatherhood, to honor the role of fathers and forefathers. This day is celebrated in the third week of June every year and this year 21st June is the day. A father plays a great role in the personality development of a child. A father’s love contribution to a child’s life is as that of a mother or sometimes he contributes even more than a mother.

IMPORTANCE OF FATHER IN LIFE

Father and Mother give life to a child and the position they bear in a child’s life, no one else can have. They always think about the welfare and happiness of their child. A father plays a very important role in a child’s life. Whatever a father does and whatsoever father teaches has a great impact on the child. From the very childhood, a child starts learning from his surroundings, and at this stage s/he sees his parents around, so they have the greatest impact of their nature, doings, and habits on the child.

A FATHER WITH MILLIONS OF CHILDREN

Every father nurtures his children with the utmost care and they care equally for all their children without any bias. When Saints incarnate on this earth, they believe every human being as their own child as God sends them for the welfare of all. One of such saints who changed millions of lives by being the father of more than 70 million people, He is Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan aka St. Dr. MSG. These millions of people are following him as a spiritual guru and they call their Guru as “Pitaji” which means Father and the reason for calling him as Father is; people get every answer of their questions from him. He explains every aspect in the easiest terms be it is the question in respect of worldly issues, spirituality related, or other queries.

TEACHINGS OF SAINT MSG

According to our Indian Culture, when the child starts understanding & learning things, the first teaching a child should get is knowledge of Humanity. Humanity is the subject that is nowhere the part of the curriculum in schooling. So, either parents or saints can teach this subject. Saint MSG taught humanitarian lessons to millions by arranging spiritual congregation & today millions have left their evils. 134 welfare works including tree plantation, blood donation, cleanliness campaign, providing relief during disasters, arranging free medical camps, providing free ration to needy ones, making homes for homeless, etc. are being followed under his pious guidance.

ADOPTION OF ORPHAN BOYS & GIRLS

Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan adopted myriad orphan boys & girls. These children write Guruji’s name as their father. These children are living a royal life. They are getting every best facility of livelihood be it for eating, living, study, parental love, care, and everything a child needs. A person is honored in society when he adopts & cares for an orphan child. Hats off to Dr. MSG who is taking care of myriads; he is such a great father.

MEDITATION FOR WILLPOWER

He taught the method of meditation for people to increase willpower. Willpower is the tonic that can neither be attained through any doctor’s prescription nor any medicine. Meditation is the only way to achieve it. Meditation of some particular words helps a lot in gaining an unimagined power inside. Where food provides power to the body, meditation of God’s words provides power to the soul.

REFORMATION OF LIVES

The teachings of Saint MSG have an unimaginable impact on the lives of people. People saw his movies and left smoking, drinking, and eating non-vegetarian food. Today, the whole world is facing the Corona pandemic whose root cause is non-vegetarianism. The great impact of his teachings is visible in the deeds of Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers. During earthquakes and other disasters, these volunteers provide relief to affected people. To fight COVID and its incidental impacts these volunteers provided food to needy, free masks & sanitized many places. Regularly, these volunteers donate blood, plant trees, provide ration & do many more deeds to help others and to keep humanity alive on this earth.

CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY EVERYDAY BY RESPECTING THEM

These kinds of days like; Mother’s day, Father’s day, Women’s day, are meant to show the importance of such persons in our hearts. These specific days come and are celebrated one day during the year but these persons should be given respect every day. One who understands such importance will follow it every second but with such kind of celebrations we can guide and teach their importance in our lives. Saint MSG perfectly fulfills every responsibility of the Father for his Millions of children. He completely deserves such respect & honor due to his righteous teachings.

WAY TO CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY

The way Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers celebrate Father’s day seems to be the best way to me. As per the pious guidance of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the devotees celebrate every special day or occasion by doing welfare work like planting trees & regularly nurturing them or by helping someone in need. And, I think this is the best way to celebrate any special day & with that give respect to the person to whom the day is meant for. Even I think, in this era, a father will feel more proud of his children on seeing them doing good deeds, on seeing them having humanity in their hearts.
So, keep your spirits up for good deeds! Stay Happy & healthy!

7 Simple yet effective ways to protect the environment

Do you ever feel that the whole planet is your home and it should be protected as we protect our walled homes? You know! There are many people out there who have fought to keep their homes! For some, it is their country, for some, it is their rented home or for someone, property, or land! But what if I tell you, there are people for whom the entire planet is their home! Yes, there are such people alive and they keep on saving the environment! Are you one of them?

If yes, and if you want to be one of them, here are simple ways to do this!

Table of contents:

  1. Nature Campaign
  2. Cleanse campaign
  3. Scientific farming
  4. Bye-Bye ethene
  5. Pollution-free environment
  6. Save water and energy
  7. Save other species

Nature campaign

  • Under this campaign, you can plant trees and just not only plant a tree but keep it protected at least till it is self-sustainable.
  • Well! It’s not that difficult, that’s why it comes under simple ways! So, the easy way is to plant a tree once every year on a day that you love to celebrate! It can be your birthday too!
  • Do you know there are even world records made in tree plantation by India! Feeling proud? Me, already! Such an exciting fact.
  • Millions of trees are planted every year by India, so what are you waiting for? Jump in and join the initiative!

Cleanse campaign

What can be this cleanse campaign? Any guesses?

  • Well! Most people clean their bodies, their homes regularly so why not clean our country too?
  • Seems difficult? It’s already happened, not in 1 or 2 but 38 locations across the nation!
  • Guess what! India has Asia Book of Records in this. Surprised? Don’t be! Our country isn’t called incredible without any reason.
  • So, you can participate in these campaigns too and see for yourself the enthusiasm of the fellow people.

Scientific Farming

Now, what is this? Well! You can promote scientific farming for getting better yields. Encourage farmers around you to take part in workshops related to scientific farming and learn new techniques for better results.

We all should prefer organic farming which is free of pesticides and is very healthy. It will also preserve our planet.

It will not only do good to the environment but also, boost the morale of farmers which can have a long-lasting effect on them in a positive way! They grow food for us; we can do this at least.

Bye-Bye Ethene

It is indeed a very simple measure to follow.

  • Discard the use of polythene and start using cloth bags instead.
  • Cloth bags can be reused multiple times and they do not harm the environment and animals are also protected from engulfing plastics.
  • Try to use biodegradable measures in your lifestyle and this way, you really can protect your planet, your home.

Pollution-free environment

There are a few things you can do to reduce pollution. Always try to avoid things which can cause pollution. There are so many people who get problems due to air pollution especially the people with existing ailments. Noise pollution can scare animals and children so in every way possible, we should try and reduce pollution as much as possible.

Save water and energy

Save water in every way possible! Do not waste it like letting the water flow from the tap or by not saving it! Try to reuse water at home. For example, by using the wastewater of RO for plants or for washing utensils. Likewise, do not use running water for brushing, instead, use a mug.

We can also save energy by installing solar panels and taking electricity via them, this will save lots of resources which can be useful for our future generations.

The concept of the biogas plant is also very sustainable, taking energy from the plant, and becoming a self-sustainable area is a big step towards development.

Save other species

We should also take part in saving other species so that the entire ecosystem does not get disturbed. Over the years, extinction of various species has led to the destruction of nature and we all can feel that destroying others is a threat to humans as well!

There are people who treat the injured animals, who feed them, try to take care of them.

Not only animals, but these people are also compassionate towards birds and keep feed and water for them daily. So can’t we take a pledge to do it every day as well? We surely can. So let’s take part in saving our planet, the biodiversity, celebrating which is also the theme for this year for world environment day.

Are these ideas even possible to implement?

Do you know one more thing that all these above-mentioned things are not new ideas but are already being done by millions of people across the globe!

Who are these people who also have world records in these wonderful and amazing ways! These are none other than followers of the same organization which is ‘Dera Sacha Sauda’.

The ways by which Dera can surprise and save the world is indeed incredible. Well! Why not? The inspiring Spiritual Master is Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. His teachings are truly a blessing!

The light in the darkness of scarcity of blood are blood donation camps

Various blood donation camps have been organized to help the patients in need of blood and these camps have been organized by the True Blood Pumps. But who are these True Blood Pumps? Ever heard of them?

True Blood Pumps

What does this name signify? So basically these are a group of people who are always ready to donate blood, be it in a blood donation camp, in a hospital, in an emergency, like they will just rush to the place where blood is needed in a great number and donate blood to save lives. Their dedication has bagged them this amazing name: True Blood Pumps and they are actually like that.
These True Blood Pumps are none other than the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda; yes this is the same organization which is located in Sirsa, Haryana.

Blood Donation Camps for Thalassemia Patients

On World Thalassemia Day 2020, these volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda have come forward and organized blood donation camps at mass level, not only across the entire nation but also beyond the boundaries of India in various other countries.
