Give valuable gift of blood on World Blood Donor Day 2023

June 14th is recognized as World Blood Donor Day all around the world. It is a day to celebrate the deeds of unsung heroes, spread the message of humanity, and motivate society towards philanthropic acts like blood donation. June 14th encompasses all of these aspects.

World Blood Donor Day 2023:

The theme for this year’s World Blood Donor Day is ‘Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often.’ Algeria is hosting the global event of the day through its national blood transfusion services.

The World Health Organization (WHO) outlines the following objectives:

  • Expressing gratitude to every donor and promoting more people to become blood donors.
  • Encouraging healthy donors to donate as soon as possible and on a regular basis.
  • Achieving universal access to safe blood products for everyone.
  • Strengthening and sustaining national blood programs.

Dera Sacha Sauda – a record-setter in the field of blood donation:

Since 1990, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has initiated several humanitarian and social welfare works. One of them is the unique ‘TRUE BLOOD PUMP’ Campaign, which promotes regular blood donation among healthy disciples.

“Donate blood so that no life is lost due to its scarcity. It fills the donor with vitality. Donating blood never makes you weak; rather, it is a treatment in itself for many ailments. Blood donation is the biggest act of charity and service. Be the savior of mankind by pursuing this cause.”
~ Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan

Dera Sacha Sauda devotees have set a world record not just once or twice, but three times in the Guinness World Book of Records, breaking their own record each time. They achieved this feat in 2003, 2004, and finally in 2010 by donating more than 47,000 units of blood in a single day. Additionally, the average annual donation from Dera Sacha Sauda amounts to a remarkable 35,000 units.

Blood donation – a cure for various ailments:

Due to the alarming increase in blood-related diseases like Thalassemia and dengue, coupled with a rise in traumatic roadside accidents, a unit of blood is required every 2 seconds. Death resulting from blood scarcity is a tragedy that can be prevented with the little effort of a common man. Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan urges everyone to step up and leave their mark in this field.

Occasional celebration through blood donation:

Dera Sacha Sauda devotees have learned an important fact: if God gives us a moment of happiness, we can show gratitude by bringing happiness to the Lord’s creatures. Therefore, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan advocates different ways of expressing gratitude, with blood donation being a significant method. As Saint Dr. MSG says,
‘खूनदान महादान है।’ (Blood donation is a great donation.)

Hence, Dera Sacha Sauda devotees have made it a habit to donate blood on various occasions worthy of celebration, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other life achievements.

The philanthropic act of blood donation brings benefits to the donor:

Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan teaches that blood donation is itself a healer and a great cure for various ailments. In addition to receiving blessings from the Almighty and the recipient, a donor’s blood cells are reinforced, providing cellular-level energy.

This significant gift works as icing on the cake in this era of Kalyug

(the age of vice). Therefore, one should never hesitate when such an opportunity arises.

The vast blood bank of Dera Sacha Sauda:

The eminent blood bank, founded by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, covers a vast area of Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital in Sirsa. On every occasion at Dera Sacha Sauda, a massive blood donation camp is organized, including the Dera premises, due to the large number of donors.

The blood bank has a well-organized system for separating and storing blood products in a safe and hygienic manner. It covers all the necessary routine tests and storage units.

Dera Sacha Sauda – ahead in spreading the message as well:

The guidance of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has been an influential factor in encouraging Dera Sacha Sauda devotees to donate blood frequently and enthusiastically. Therefore, volunteers have made it a part of their lives to spread these humane messages across the world.

Through online platforms, offline hoverboards, and pamphlets, no means have been spared in spreading the message far and wide.

This is one of the beautiful documentaries created by the Dera volunteers:
[Link to the documentary: https://youtu.be/8tS8GcHBmbI%5D

Not only does it raise awareness about the topic, but it has also helped increase the number of volunteers over the years.

Because everyone can spread the message if everyone is not fortunate enough to be a part of it.

World Food Safety Day 2023:

Good nutrition is a cornerstone of good health, yet billions of people don’t have access to the high quality food they need to stay healthy.
It is a travesty that, despite so much technological and economic progress, Globally, around 815 million people are food insecure, meaning they don’t have reliable access to enough nutritious food. This is especially true in the developing world where millions of children and families suffer from severe malnutrition and its attendant health consequences.

Changing Temperature, increasing Hunger

Millions of people are at risk due to rising temperatures caused by climate change which affects crop production, leaving many at risk for hunger and poverty. Unless something is done soon, the number of people without access to good quality food will continue to grow over time.

An organisation working round the clock to ensure food safety

Dera Sacha Sauda, founded in 1948, has always been an organisation centred around the belief of spreading spirituality and love to their followers. As part of this belief, they regularly host spiritual congregations where they share knowledge and spread his teachings, while also going above and beyond to help those less fortunate by distributing ration kits to poorer communities that may not have access. The distribution of these ration kits, in combination with the spiritual congregations, have helped countless people gain a better understanding of spirituality while also learning new ways to benefit whole humanity.

Food For All : Food Bank

One remarkable practice followed by the members of Dera Sacha Sauda is their weekly fasting ritual, which involves abstaining from food for a day.
This self-imposed sacrifice serves a noble purpose, as the food that would have been consumed during the fasting period is saved and donated to the Food Bank by Dera Sacha Sauda. This unique approach of utilizing personal sacrifice to alleviate hunger showcases the deep commitment of the organization and its followers towards helping those in need.
By embracing this tradition, the members of Dera Sacha Sauda demonstrate their dedication to making a positive impact in society by providing nourishment to the underprivileged. Their collective efforts exemplify the spirit of selflessness and compassion, inspiring others to contribute towards the well-being of their fellow human beings.

Who is the Inspiration Source?

Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the present spiritual leader of Dera Sacha Sauda always insists that no one should suffer due to the lack of essentials such as food or basic necessities in life. This is why His Holiness initiated Food Bank and Food Distribution Project – a network of food distribution whose mission is to provide food to those in need all over the world.

This World Food Safety Day, Let’s ensure the access of good quality food to the people who don’t have the access to nutritious food and suffer from hunger.

Millions wish mother’s day to the best mother in the world: Saint Dr MSG

A mother’s love is forever strong,
never changing for all time.
And when her children need her most,
a mother’s love will shine.
Happy Mothers Day

The challenges of life are endless. It is not easy to lead from the moment of birth in today’s era. It poses even more problems for the ones all alone in this world. But we humans are fortunate enough to have a wonderful mentor in our life in the form of our mother.

Today is the second Sunday of May, Mother’s Day. It is not only special for all the mothers and children, but also very significant for Dera Sacha Sauda devotees who received so much of the maternal affection from their spiritual teacher, Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan that every disciple considers His holiness to be a father as well as a mother of their souls.

Table of contents:

Let’s learn some beautiful teachings of Saint Dr MSG on this Mother’s Day.

A child can never pay back a mother’s debt of providing such a precious human birth
How beautifully the holy literatures place the status of a girl equivalent to that of a mother

Saint Dr MSG – a mother and a father to millions of the children

The significance of a mother in the two worlds:

“Most of the true saints, the eminent sant fakir have been males, does that mean males are more venerated or respectable than women?”, asked someone to Saint Dr MSG.

Guruji gave a beautiful answer to the same. Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan said that every Saint and every reverend personality who stepped onto this world was a gift to the universe by a mother. Thus, His holiness mentioned that even the sacred historic texts/Vedas give women a status above God. Further, Saint Dr MSG adds that there has been no process like de novo births or regenerations. Hence, it was a woman, a mother who made the teachings of every eminent Saint possible to reach millions in person.

So, in a nutshell, it is the mother who holds our hand and directly or indirectly guides us to the infinity in every world.

A child can never pay back a mother’s debt of providing such a precious human birth:

As Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan preaches, human birth is a special gift by the Almighty Lord to the soul that joins the planet Earth. And a mother is nature’s way of making it feasible. Therefore, we must acknowledge the reality and realize that we will never be able to make up for the debt of our mother’s gift.

Saint Dr MSG suggests imagining a 3 to 4 kgs weight strapped to the abdomen and withholding it for 9 months, 24 hours a day. Ask yourself – is it really going to be easy or simple doing every errand of the day with such a load. Nevertheless, a mother controls everything with such adaptability. Therefore, it is not appropriate for us to ever grumble about our parents.

Furthermore, Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan preaches that we are a result of our parents blood and genes. If we do not find them pleasing, then how can we ourselves be pleasing!

Therefore, never confront a difference of opinion with your parents with rage or a ridiculous debate. If peace is no longer an option, resolve the issues by distancing.

The status of a girl is equivalent to that of a mother:

Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan teaches how a girl is given the status of mother since her very birth, according to the holy texts.
How so?
Saint Dr MSG explains:
Initially, a female is a daughter. The daughter treats her father with maternal affection. What to eat, what not to wear and everything. Then she gets married and the same happens with her husband. Finally the nominal role of mother when she becomes one.
Thus, a girl is a mother since her very birth according to various sacred texts.

So Saint Dr MSG guides that a girl should not be treated with discrimination when it comes to raising children. The only thing needed are decent sacraments.

Repaying our parents beautiful debt:

With such beautiful teachings, even many youngsters who follow Dera Sacha Sauda have successfully steered their parents in the right direction. Many children of drug addict parents or the parents heading on the wrong track, come to Dera Sacha Sauda, attain eternal happiness and then mentor their parents and help them attain the same holy peace.
Nothing but this, as per Saint Dr MSG, can contribute to repaying the lovely obligation of our parents in the form of our birth.

Kul Ka crown initiative:

For the same purpose, Saint Dr MSG also started the ‘Kul Ka Crown’ campaign for daughters. According to it, a single girl child marries and stays with her parents only, carrying the lineage forward herself. Numerous Dera Sacha Sauda devotees are following the unique tradition.

Saint Dr MSG – a mother and a father to millions of children:

Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan has served as a parent/guardian to millions of people. His holiness has adopted orphans and also helped prostitute girls, and given them the care of the parents that every child deserves.

Saint Dr MSG considers His 6 crore disciples as His children. Thus His holiness listens to each and every word of His children, whether it be in person or through messages or via thy photographs. His holiness also answers every statement of His children. It is the purity of our soul and our calmness that would make the body listen to the call of Satguru.

God: also our mother:

Saint Dr MSG also guides that the Almighty Lord, Ram, Allah, Waheguru serves like a mother to us. But just the way a child cries to catch the attention of his mother, similarly one needs to call the Almighty whole heartedly for the same. God definitely listens to every call and also answers every question.

Saint Dr MSG’s guidance on raising children to be good parents:

Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan guides that children should be raised to be good human beings first then they can be good parents as well. In order for them to open up to their parents about every aspect of their lives without hesitation, parents must be friends with them. Parents’ lifelong wisdom will guide children moving forward to choose the right route in every circumstance.
Respect parents!

With a heart made of pure gold,
And a smile like a sunshine
God made the lovely character of the mother enough bold
To help the children achieve wonders and live life just fine.

This mother’s day, salute and gratitude towards every mother out there who brought up their children into being good human beings and also a very Happy Mother’s Day to our beloved Spiritual master – Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji insan who guided every child with great maternal affection.

16th anniversary of Jaam-E-Insan Day

On April 29, 2007, respected Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the current master of Dera Sacha Sauda, established the tradition of Jaam-E-Insan, or the Nectar of Humanitarianism, to revitalize the dying mankind.

Beginning the divine custom of Jaam-E-Insan

The heavenly commitment, Jaam-E-Insan (Nectar of Humanitarianism), was started by revered Saint Dr. MSG on April 29, 16 years ago. It was begun by Guru Ji to bring about change in a society where people had become wholly self-centered, had lost sight of what it meant to be a human, and had begun fighting over things like castes, colours, religions, and creeds, among other things. At that time, HE made the decision to start the Jaam-E-Insan tradition to bring harmony and equality among people and gave it the name “Jaam-E-Insan Guru Ka.” On April 29, Guru Ji gathered four men from each of the four major world religions—Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian, to give a message of unity and harmony. They concocted the Ruhani Jaam (Holy drink) with milk, water and rose essence while meditating on God’s name and conveyed the idea of the unity, peace and brotherhood of all the religions along with the idea that everyone is a child of the one and only ultimate power; almighty.

Pledge to be a ‘Insan’

Millions of people have consumed the Ruhani Jaam so far. It is not a conversion to any particular religion or belief, but its the pledge:

to ensure that everyone who practices the method of meditation in God’s name, always follows the path of humanity and serves mankind in a selfless manner.

to never discriminate against anyone on the basis of color, caste, religion, creed, language etc.

to always remain true to the teachings of your own religion, while acknowledging the harmony of all religions and considering humanity as the greatest religion.

to always respect every religion and its adherents.

to be prepared at all times to serve humanity selflessly; and to never, under any circumstances, allow humanity to perish.

After partaking in the Ruhani Jaam, devotees are asked to add ‘Insan’ behind their names or surnames, which is a reminder that they are humans and their primary religion is humanity. Guru Ji began this custom by adding ‘Insan’ to HIS name.
Along with that, disciples wear a locket of the symbol ‘1’ which represents the unification of all religions and the idea that every human belongs to that one supreme power, ‘Almighty’.

What does humanity actually mean?

Saint Dr. MSG describes the true meaning of humanity is to provide help to those in need. It means that when you witness someone in pain or suffering, you endeavor to alleviate their suffering by all means possible, whether those means are financial, emotional, or physical resources. So, after taking the method of meditation and drinking the Ruhani Jaam, millions of people promise to follow the real path of humanity and to constantly serve society selflessly in order to minimize or eradicate the pain and suffering of the needy.

47 guiding principles for humanity:

Anyone who has taken the method of meditation and consumed the ‘Jaam-E-Insan’, is required to abide by 47 principles, making him a true humanitarian. These principles are merely for the welfare of mankind. Primary of these principles are :

To add ‘Insan’ behind your name or surname.
To shun alcohol, drugs and other intoxicants completely.
To completely abstain from consuming non-vegetarian food.
To always maintain a high moral character.
There are a total of 47 principles that every “Insan” must abide by, in addition to these 4 major principles. To learn about all 47 principles, tap below:

Witnessing miracles after partaking in ‘Jaam-E-Insan’:

The amazing thing is that hundreds of people have seen miracles happen to them or to other people right after ingesting Ruhani Jaam. individuals have claimed to experienced real-life miracles after consuming this holy Jaam, including curing their fourth-degree cancer, giving blind individuals their sight back, curing their HIV, and many more such incurable ailments. According to Saint Dr. MSG, God, who is the ocean of kindness, can do miracles via a devotee’s faith and devotion to his Satguru.

Teachings of Revered Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj

In the spiritual journey to seek Almighty, the presence of a Master or Guru is necessary, who works as a torch bearer or the guiding light throughout the whole spiritual journey. The master or Guru is the one who teaches the true aim of life and teaches the right way to seek the almighty’s blessings. The Incarnation of Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj (the founder of Dera Sacha Sauda), provided thousands with a true Guru and the guide who showed them the easiest and righteous path to attain eternal peace by seeking Almighty. Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj was born in 1891 in the village of ‘Kotra’, Balochistan. His Incarnation served as a new guiding light to re-direct those who had wandered down dark and bad pathways. His teachings continue to teach millions even today. The respected Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj is known for his following main teachings:

Guru Ji’s three fundamental tenets:

Shun the usage of alcohol and other intoxicating substances
Avoid the consumption of non-vegetarianism and egg completely.
Always maintain a high moral character.

Shunning all the superstitions and fallacies:

Sai Ji urged people to shun all the widely prevalent superstitions. HE explained to them that the supreme power, almighty, does not ask for any worldly offerings to be pleased, but he can be pleased merely through genuine devotion and meditation of his name.

Teaching the true method of meditation:

Sai Ji taught the true method of meditation to everyone, quenching the thirst of all those who had been seeking God. He praised the greatness of the Almighty and urged people to meditate, telling them that those who did so with sincere devotion would be able to see the Almighty and find salvation with ease.

God is present within us only:

Instead of searching for God outside, Sai Ji said that the ‘Zinda-ram’ is present within us only. Instead of finding him at different outside religious places, one can find the Almighty inside himself only. For that one has to make themselves capable of seeing and sensing him. That is possible with the true method of meditation only.

Unconditional love & devotion:

It takes the utmost dedication towards the Almighty in order to see him. According to Sai Ji, dedication cannot exist without selfless love. One can only become a human if there is love; otherwise, they are merely statues. Therefore, we must adore God and his creation with a selfless devotion if we want to see the Almighty. He urged everyone to live in peace and harmony and preached the value of brotherhood.

Humanity is the greatest religion:

Sai Ji abandoned all disputes and conflicts that were prevailed on the basis of castes, creeds, colors, and religions. Instead HE taught the biggest religion of “humanity” to everyone. HE taught everyone to serve humanity selflessly and the idea that being a human, humanity is our biggest religion. He established a common place for everyone i.e. a place where people from all the religions, caste or creeds can sit together and worship almighty; the confluence of all religions – Dera Sacha Sauda. Walking on these teachings by Sai Ji, today 156 humanitarian works are being run by this organization and millions of volunteers are always ready and determined to serve the humanity selflessly.

Always act with humility and kindness:

Sai Ji taught everyone to treat others with respect and humility. According to Sai Ji, there is no Almighty where there is ego. One must always be humble in both nature and behavior.

Significance of a Guru in a disciple’s life:

Sai Ji says that every disciple must have utmost faith in his Guru. He should never doubt his guru or his capabilities. Without a true guru in life, one can’t complete his journey to almighty. One must meditate the Gurumantra provided by his guru or master in order to see the almighty and receive his infinite blessings.

Meditate Almighty’s name regularly to achieve salvation:

Sai Ji taught that we should meditate Almighty’s name regularly. The best time to meditate is between 2-4 in the morning, which is called as Baraham-mahurta. The few hours of meditation that are practiced here in this mortal world are equivalent to the thousands of years in the Satlok-anami (the eternal abode). Therefore, one must meditate God’s name on regular basis to seek Almighty’s blessings in this world and to achieve salvation.

Earn with honesty and hard-work:

Sai Ji emphasized on the earnings gained by hard-work and honesty. Nobody will ever be happy in their lives who makes money dishonestly or abuses the rights of others.

Following Sai Mastana Ji Maharaj’s great teachings, millions of people today are living happy lives and are grateful to HIM for being their Guru and guide!
