Annually Yaad E Murshid free eye check up camp is held at Dera Sacha Sauda which benefits thousands of needy people who cannot afford treatment.

What is Yaad-E-Murshid Free Eye Camp?

Yaad-E-Murshid literally means in Holy Rememberance of Murshid – The Spiritual Master. Since 1992, Dera Sacha Sauda organises Yaad E Murshid Free Eye Camp to pay tribute to second Spirtual Master, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj. His holiness left this earthly abode on December 13, 1991. Every year, The ocassion of his mergence with divinity is honored as Yaad E Murshid Free Eye Camp. Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan led the establishment of this camp to pay tribute to the Divine Master – Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj.

Who is Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj?

The second Spirtual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj devoted his entire life to the benefit of whole humanity. His holiness led the Caravan of spirituality and traveled across the country . Shah Satnam Ji connected people across the nation with True Method of Meditation. For millions of followers of Dera Sacha Sauda, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj is an epitome of true love, kindness and benevolence who reformed their lives with holy blessings.

Glimpses of Sacred Life of Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj

Most Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj was born in the village Shri Jalalana Sahib, district Sirsa, Haryana on 25 January 1919. His most Revered Father was Shree Waryam Singh Ji. The name of Revered Mother was Maata Aas Kaur Ji. His holiness belonged to The Zaildar family of village. Both the parents were very Spiritual kind and were tended towards welfare.

Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj – the epitome of kindness and virtue

Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj was an ocean of kindness since childhood. The whole village was acknowledged with His selfless love towards humanity. Whosoever approached Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj for help, His holiness never returned him empty handed. If Any needy or poor came at his doorstep, he would never return empty handed. Once there was a drought in the village and nearby area. Everyone was helpless and distressed. In such a difficult time, his holiness and his family came forward & helped every needy in the village.

Journey of Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj as Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj declared Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj as the head of Dera Sacha Sauda on 28 February 1960. Shah Satnam Ji led the command of Dera Sacha Sauda and carried forward the Caravan of spirituality. At that time, People were indulged in senseless customs in the name of God and religion. Shah Satnam Ji awakened masses to leave all the superstitions and get involved in True Method of Meditation. His holiness also made people aware to stay away from alcohol and drug addiction. Shah Satnam Ji laid the foundation of various ashrams of Dera Sacha Sauda in various cities across the country, and every Ashram is unique in its own way.
Finally On 23 September 1990, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj declared Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan by making later his holy successor and this divine union lead to a new chapter in the history of Spirituality

A grand initiative by Dera Sacha Sauda for brightening up the lives of thousands of people:
31st ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Free Mega Eye Camp. It is going to be organised at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa with the aid of Shah Satnam Ji Research and Development Foundation in order to pay heartfelt gratitude and homage to Saint Revered Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj (Second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda). Since the year 1992, these free camps have been held at Dera premises to help people, and lakhs of people have been benefited so far.

Eye problems are quite frequent and eye cataract is accountable for approx 50% of international blindness. Trauma, infectious diseases, age-related macular degeneration, diabetes, and many different causes can be held responsible for weaker eyesight & eye-related issues.
The eye ailments should be cured in the initial stages only to prevent further complications .

Salient features of the Mega Eye camp

-A large section of the society is unable to afford visiting opthalmologists because of high amount of fee charged. Super specialists doctors and nurses would assist the  eye treatment that too free of cost!

-Every year, The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda treat them as their very own parents and assist them at each and every moment.
Their commitment is well worth applauding.

-Warm blankets and a good space to sleep is provided to them.

-The ambience of the place they stay in, is made sterilised and completely free of germs and bacterias.

-The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda take care of the patients just like there own parents and loved ones.

-People who come and get treated in the eye camp always leave with a smile on their faces

-Some people even told that the amount of love and respect they’ve got in the Dera Sacha Sauda was never given to them by their own kids.

Those who just dreamt of getting the best services will experience the most of it at this camp. The goal of medical doctors is to provide the fantastic clinical care facility to each and every patient..

Not just the doctors and nurses, every volunteer of the Dera Sacha Sauda is filled with zeal and passion to serve the people through this Mega Eye Camp

Besides the doctors, hundreds of Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers will serve  the patients. Making the adage true, ‘Serving needy is serving God’ their selfless attitude is really worth witnessing. They have reached in big numbers at Dera premises to provide  proper care to each and every patient.

The registerations begin from 10th December

•The registration for the camp will begin from 10th December 2023 i.e Today  and patients will be commenced coming from far away and nearby locations to Dera Sacha Sauda.

•Eye checkups will begin on December 12th and the eye surgeries will begin on December 13th

•The patients who cannot get treatments before or on 15th December are no longer sent home even after the legit camp is over.
Although the professional cease date of camp is December 15, the free operations continue even after that. In 2020, the operations lasted until December 22. Every needy who reaches in the camp and receives registration is provided free treatment.

Here are some guidelines for the People visiting the 31st Yaad-e-Murshid eye camp

•Each patient is required to have two ID proofs such as Adhaar Card, Ration Card or Voter Card, etc.
•Patients need to carry a family member with them.
•All arrangements for patients and their family members’ accommodation, eating, and drinking will be given free of cost.
•Follow the guidelines laid down with the aid of physicians carefully.

World Records by Dera Sacha Sauda

Dera Sacha Sauda has world record in eye camp along with different welfare works. On December 12, 2010, Dera Sacha Sauda recorded its name in Guinness book of world records and Asia Book of Records with the greatest eye health screening which consisted 4603 people. This eye screening was made possible Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing. Again on December 12, 2013, Dera Sacha Sauda made another Guinness World Record with the greatest eye health screening consisting 11,715 people.

All this is possible because of the inspiration of Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Followers of his holiness call him life coach & indeed he is a life coach. From every little to big thing, he has always preached the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda to serve the humanity and love everyone.

Let’s look upon the functioning of our brain. Our brain releases neurotransmitters like Dopamine that makes us feel good. Dopamine is a feel good drug for our brain. I’m naming it a drug because if you donot manage its release, it would harm you in infinite ways. Our brain doesn’t know what is right and what’s wrong for it. It craves for little hits of dopamine & that’s where mobile phones and other devices come into play. They give our brain those hits of dopamine without working any hard. That’s why even after knowing the ill effects of dopamine, it is very hard for our mind to retrace itself back from this addiction.

SEED CAMPAIGN

On the pious occasion of Incarnation Day of Sai Mastana Ji Maharaj, founder of Dera Sacha Sauda, Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Ji initiated SEED Campaign.

Under this initiative, all the followers have pledged to stay away from mobile phones, tv or other electronic gadgets for two hours from 7 pm to 9 pm everyday and to spend that time with their families.!!!

abbreviated as SEED. In today’s life, everyone from kids to adult or aged person, all are become so much dependent on mobile phones that family relationships are affected badly with excessive use of mobile phones.

Cell phones are ruining our family time.

The way we use our mobile device around our family can affect our relationships. Cell phones can make us feel more connected, but they also can distract us and our family from connecting with each other. While some people need to check their phones for work or emergency purposes, it’s important to model and prioritize making meaningful connections through face-to-face communication.

Some people have trouble putting away their cell phone even when it causes problems. They might feel a lack of control over how often they pick up their phone or how long they use it. They might feel the need to constantly check it without a real reason or feel upset if they don’t have access to the phone.

Using a cell phone for work purposes during family time can increase distress and strain on a family.

While using their cell phones, parents talk to their kids less, respond more slowly, and overreact to being interrupted.

Taking note of this ,Saint MSG has appealed His followers to pledge for Digital Fasting (SEED) from 7pm to 9pm everyday.

Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj introduced the world with true method of meditation. The method of meditation taught by Sai Mastana Ji Maharaj is so powerful that one feels heaven on earth after regular practice.
