The Spiritual Saint incarnates to shun all the superstitions.

Spiritual Saints incarnate on earth to enlighten the lives of people entrapped in the darkness of ignorance. Shah Mastana Ji spread the message of spirituality and taught the true method of meditation to all, free of cost. Sai Ji shunned all the superstitions in the name of God. His Holiness taught the simplest method to get salvation from all worries and sorrows. Millions of lives got changed and people left their vices and connected to spirituality.

Sai Ji established three basic principles for every devotee.

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj laid down three principles for every follower of Dera Sacha Sauda. The devotees who are taught the method of meditation have to follow these three basic rules.

  1. Avoid liquor or drug intake.
  2. Be vegetarian
  3. Maintenence of high character and being loyal to legitimate relationships.

The holy slogan reformed millions of lives

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj coined the holy slogan ” Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra”
Dhan Dhan : We thank with reverence
Satguru: the supreme lord or almighty which is synonymous with om, Allah, Waheguru, ram, god, etc. as used in other religions.
Tera Hi Asra: We are solely dependent on him, and he can help us everywhere in all eventualities.
There is a lot of power in this holy slogan. Sai Ji sermonized “This slogan has descended from Satlok- Anami ( the eternal abode) and it will take you there. Do not misspend it, add the spiritual joys within you.”

Love is the ornament for a true devotee.

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj taught lessons of love and brotherhood to all. Sai Ji taught people to love others and almighty unconditionally.
” Love is the only hope in devotion. As long as there is hope for someone or something other than love, the temple of mind can not be empty for devotion. It is necessary to have selfless love in devotion. Love is not a business thing. In love, one has to offer everything (even his life) without any desire.”
“Spiritual Love is such a thing that converts even an ordinary being into a spiritual deity. Even the dead become alive when they fall in love with the Spiritual Master. The soul brightens up and becomes fit to be in union with the master.”

Meditate between 3 to 5 a.m. to get eternal bliss.

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj taught the best time to meditate as told in different religions as ‘ Brahma muhurat”
“The person who sleeps after three o’clock is not smart. He himself has enmity with the master! How? Just as a farmer cultivating the land does not deposit the amount of the government’s share, then the government ousts him from that land. Therefore, prayer to the almighty should be done from 3 am to 5.30 am. In the “Brahma muhurta” the divine bliss descends which is distributed among the worshipers.”

God is impressed by the purity of heart and mind.

The almighty see your truth and purity. One should purify his thoughts by doing meditation and make oneself capable to witness eternal pleasures. Meditation helps you cleanse your mind and fortunate are those who get the true method of meditation.
Filling joy in sorrows is the greatest virtue of all
Making a sad heart happy is the greatest virtue in this world.
“इक दिल खसता रखे बाहू लै सै वरेया दी इबादत हु “
If you make one heart happy, you can impress Almighty Master easily.

You have an abundance of treasures of happiness inside.

We are blessed with an abundance of treasures of happiness by the almighty. Meditation is the key to unlocking these treasures. Shah Mastana Ji sermonized,
“Just as the plants have brought forth fruits and flowers by taking the happiness of Jindaram (almighty) from within and everyone’s heart is happy to see them. Similarly, there is a storehouse of happiness of Jindaram (almighty) within you. Achieve that happiness and bring out the fruits and flowers of modesty, forgiveness, contentment, discretion, poverty, and meekness from within. Otherwise, you will be skinned like a goat at the time of death. It is up to you whether to become a victim of death or to enjoy the happiness from the Supreme Master.”

Serving humanity is the greatest religion of all.

“Serving humanity is the biggest religion. By doing welfare, the body gets happiness and the soul gets peace. One can never be successful without the blessings of the almighty. The disciple can attain happiness and success by impressing the almighty.”

Never waste your time.

“Do your work now, don’t rely on tomorrow. Those who don’t do it now and leave today’s work for tomorrow, never do. Make appropriate use of the time. Time and the waves of the sea never wait for anyone.”

Never think ill of others.

One should never think ill of anyone. Thinking bad for someone is interrupting your spiritual paths. So never wish bad of anyone because no one is your enemy. This way the temple of mind will be clean.

What is kindness?

“Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
~ Mark Twain

Being Kind means being generous with others, giving others preference, time, money, or your talent to support those who are in need of basic facilities. Kindness is a deep concern for the welfare of others and being compassionate. It means to be there for someone, feeling their pain by listening to their suffering. Have you ever just sat with someone and silently supported them?. Such compassion involves nurturing. When you start enjoying doing favors for others, taking care of them, and performing good deeds selflessly, it’s kindness.

Why is kindness essential?

Throughout history, Kindness is the most essential and highly rated thing in the world with all the cultures and religions and surely the only thing must be respected always as well. Kindness constitutes attributes like good-heartedness, generosity, positive behavior, goodwill, good intentions, courtesy, and benevolence.
Most of us spend much of our lives seeking happiness and pleasure. Truth is that any amount of wealth cannot make us forever happy. Inner peace of mind and tranquility can be achieved by doing good deeds and that is possible if you are kind enough to help others.
Today everyone is under stress and anxiety that people rarely care for others. Hatred, jealousy, egoism has made man an empty vessel. The World thus today needs kindness and empathy. Being considerate about others will provide you life long happiness. Small acts of kindness can provide peace of mind.

Who teaches the true meaning of kindness?

Title: 7 ways to spread smiles and kindness this Diwali

Diwali is known as the festival of lights but that’s a line which everyone has read multiple times. Do you know how it can truly be the festival of lights? By lighting diyas? Maybe but actual meaning won’t be justified! So, have you ever thought about celebrating it in a way that you end up lighting up not just your home but someone’s life? Have you?
Well! It’s time to implement the idea! How? Let’s know some things which we can do this Diwali, believe me, anyone can do this!

A smile a day keeps the sadness away!

You must have noticed that whenever you smile, it suddenly changes your mood and no matter what, sadness decreases! So why not to spread smiles this Diwali! It can easily be done. Let’s know the simple ways to spread smile as it’s contagious and is good for health!

1. Sweetness aka happiness comes in small packets

It’s true, right? Just buy some sweets and give them to needy children. Do you know what should you do right after that? Just witness them! You will not regret; rather love the way they are going to smile and express their happiness! So, sweetness you will pour while giving sweets will go a long way!

2. Let’s go shop

But wait! We were talking about spreading smiles! How will shopping help in that? Well! Off course there’s a twist! Almost everyone goes for shopping but why not to go and buy new clothes for needy people, also keeping in mind the winter season. Go and just give those to them. It might be a dream come true moment for somebody. You literally can change someone’s life and perspective towards life by this simple yet noble act.

3. Food brings smile on anyone’s face

Simplest way is to provide food to the needy. Give ration/food to the needy families so that they can also eat well and feed their children. No one should have to ever sleep empty stomach and never on a festival.

4. Give hope

Giving someone hope in a situation where they might be feeling helpless is really an act of kindness. You can do it by helping someone in their treatment by arranging the medications needed which might give new life to someone. What would be a more noble act other than saving someone’s life?

5. A pint of blood to save a life

You can donate blood also which will definitely save up to 3 lives. There isn’t even any replacement for blood. Just have the intention that no one ever have to lose life because of lack of blood and just see the blessings coming to you!

6. Help animals and birds

Why restrict spreading smiles to humans? Let’s help all creatures of God. Keeping grains and water for birds, and food and water for animals is an easy yet an effective measure to help these creatures survive. You can even continue to do it on routine basis.

7. Pledge to donate your organs

You can also take a pledge to donate your organs like your eyes posthumously and can even serve after death via this manner. Sense of being helpful even after death will definitely fill your life with happiness!

But! A question arises here. How many of these ways are practical?
Actually, all of them and many more, a total of 135! Yes! That’s the number of welfare works being done regularly by millions of people and they all have the same source of inspiration. Do you know who that is? He is Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan whose teachings have definitely made this world a better place and millions of people today are living for others before themselves!

The persona of a saint is the epitome of unconditional love for humanity.

Since childhood, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj had unconditional love for the whole of humanity. His Holiness bestowed kindness to all equally. Here are some of the instances from the childhood of his holiness.

Feeding the hungry

Once Revered Mastana Ji Maharaj was standing at a shop to take ration. There were some poor and hungry people who were pleading with the shopkeeper to borrow some flour. The shopkeeper refused to lend further. Seeing all this, Shah Mastana Ji felt pity for them. At that time Sai Ji had only one rupee to buy ration for the home. Sai Ji fed those helpless and hungry people with that money. With the thought of not upsetting Revered mother, Sai Ji worked the whole day in a field and earned money.

Cleaning the pathways:

Similarly, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj considered it his ultimate duty to serve humanity. Thou would get up at three in the morning. With the thought that no passerby should get hurt due to stones, thorns, and pebbles, his holiness would clean the entire path and would return home before anyone was awake.

Arranging water for thirsty

In those days there were huge sand dunes that got heated in the summer months. Due to extreme heat, it was difficult to walk and travelers would get distraught with thirst. Sai Ji arranged water pots for the travelers. His holiness would carry water pots on his shoulders from miles to quench the thirst of people. Moreover, his holiness would arrange some eatables to satisfy their hunger.

The Strong desire to attain God.

Since childhood, There was a strong desire in thy mind to attain God. Sai Ji was always curious to search for the supreme power – God. His holiness was always devoted to worship and always prayed for the well-being and happiness of others. Once Sai Ji was praying in his place, when a faqir, dressed in white, came and said, ” Search for the True Spiritual Guru, there is no salvation without true Guru”
After some days, the same instance occurred. Sai Ji became very curious about his identity and thus his search for True Spiritual Master began.

The search for the true spiritual master

This search for a True Spiritual Master introduced him to several people who were famous for their devotion towards God. But Sai Ji wanted complete truth and none could satisfy his curiosity for True Satguru. Finally, the search ended after 9 years when he reached Beas in Punjab (India).
His Holiness was introduced to Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj in Beas one of his spiritual congregations. Sai Ji was astonished to see that the faqir his holiness had seen earlier while worshipping was Baba Sawan Singh Ji. Sai Ji learned the method of meditation from his Guru.

Thou presented a supreme example of a true disciple.

Shah Mastana Ji was completely satisfied to meet the True Spiritual Master and had utmost faith. His holiness’ pure and sincere devotion was enough for his Satguru to bestow all spiritual knowledge to his disciple. Baba Sawan Singh Ji entitled Sai Ji with the name Shah Mastana Ji. Sai Ji presented a supreme example of a true disciple who had unconditional love, faith, and respect for his master.

The foundation of the confluence of all religions – Dera Sacha Sauda

Sai Ji was entrusted with the sacred duty of conducting Spiritual discourses and teaching meditation to people in the provinces of Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab. Later Baba Sawan Ji Maharaj bestowed Sai Mastana Ji Maharaj with spiritual wealth and named his holiness the” king of the Bagar” region. Then Sai Ji was assigned to spread the spiritual message in the Sirsa region of Haryana.
Thus in 1948, Sai Ji established Dera Sacha Sauda- the confluence of all religions. Today Dera Sacha Sauda needs no introduction and this socio-spiritual organization is known to all.

Thy simplicity, kindness, love, and modesty are engraved in every heart.
“तरुवर फल नहीं खात है, सरूवर पीवें ना नीर। परमार्थ के कारने , संतन भयो शरीर ॥ “
Trees do not produce fruits for themselves, oceans do not possess water for themselves, Similarly, Saints incarnate for the benefit of the whole of mankind.

And still, most of the people nitpick and complaint, as a result of which food wastage has become a common scenario.
But there are children and people out there, for whom having a meal in a day is an accomplishment. And for them being hungry means more than just missing a meal.

Facts you should know about hunger and malnutrition!

According to the data, millions of people do not have access to the food they need to live an active life. In a poverty-stricken and economically challenged country like India, there are lakhs of families who suffer from chronic hunger and malnutrition. A mother who suffers from hunger and undernourishment during pregnancy passes the same risk to the child. This also increases the chances of delivering underweight, physically underdeveloped babies. The pandemic has worsened the situation, switching India to the 101st country on Global Hunger Index. There are underprivileged children out there who struggle, work at tender ages getting minimum wages daily to satiate their hunger.

World Food Day

16th October is marked as World Food Day to demand a collective approach from society and agencies towards fighting hunger and malnutrition. So today we present you an inspiring true story of an organization. Though the characters are fictional, the initiative by this organization is remarkable in coping with the problem of food deprivation.

The story of Rajni

Rajni was born in a very poor family in the slums of Mansa, Punjab. Her mother is a widow who works as a maid. Rajni has three younger sisters. Being the eldest of all, she too started working at age of 8, cleaning utensils in the nearest dhaba. She would dream for the food served there, but could never dare to ask for some, and it mattered to no one. Her dreams of going to study shattered under the burdens of reality when the family could hardly manage to buy a meal a day. There were many nights when she had to sleep empty stomach and fed her younger siblings.
Rajni’s life took a turn and there came the ray of hope when one day, some people dressed in uniforms, wearing brown caps, knocked on their doors. They carried large boxes in their hands and distributing them to the poor elderly, sick, and many children like her. Her family also got their boxes which contained different packets of spices, pulses, flour, beans, etc., enough to make full-fledged meals for months. Some boxes even contained books and toys for them. She was smiling with happiness and excitement as any kid of her age would, getting toys, new packets of food, and many things she had just seen in fancy stores.
The people dressed in uniforms were like angels who assured her mother to contact them in need. They also assured her mother about a regular supply of food materials to their family so that she could focus her earnings on building the future of her children.
It was the happiest moment for the family and she could see a quiet smile on her mother’s face. From that day onwards, there was no single day when she had to sleep empty stomach.

Who are the real Food heroes who are donating food passionately every week!

Neha, a B.Com student, is a volunteer of an organization Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. The organization works day and night for the welfare of humanity with 135 humanitarian works. Food donation is one of them.
Many volunteers like her keep fast once a week. They save their monthly rations and collect them together in different areas and cities. These volunteers have thus built a chain of Food Banks. These food banks are then used to serve food on the plates of those who cannot afford it.
The food banks of Dera Sacha Sauda have ensured a regular supply of food to many underprivileged children like Rajni, sick elderly, and many poor families stuck in the shackles of poverty. This initiative has protected many families from the crisis of malnutrition and hunger.

Have you ever donated food to someone?

Food donation is considered one of the greatest donations. There is no better worship or ritual than feeding the hungry. Being a Volunteer at Dera Sacha Sauda, Neha feels extremely proud and happy. Every time she comes home after food and ration distribution, she experiences a different level of peace and serenity. Whenever she sees the smile on the faces of children like Rajni, it makes her more passionate to carry the initiative forwards.

Who is the inspiration behind it?

Dera Sacha Sauda is a humanitarian organization working worldwide, day and night under the inspiration of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan aka Saint Dr.MSG. The initiative of Food Banks is carried out in villages, small towns, and big cities, and remote areas of the country. With the pious inspiration, there are millions of people like Neha who have pledged to observe fast once a week and donate that food to the needy and underprivileged children like Rajni. The passion to serve humanity has been instilled in them by the teachings of their Spiritual Master, Saint Dr. MSG. Their continuous efforts have made them the Food Heroes for children like Neha whose life is all about the struggle for food. The Food Banks are thus aiding such people in their struggles. This is what is known as the real meaning of “Humanity”.
