I, while hearing stories of people suffering due to discrimination on the basis of caste and that too stories of frustration, crime, people running away from their homes, hatred at workplace, etc.
It really shatters me from inside. Everyone does have the right to speech but there is our duty to not hurt anyone at the same time. So, in this frustration, I (hopelessly) went on a search engine and I searched a totally hopeless question that ‘Is there any place in India with people from all the castes sitting together?’ I found so many articles but didn’t find what I was looking for! Then I started changing my words but the concept was same. After trying several times and going to several pages, I found something unbelievable. Why was it unbelievable? Because the place’s name was Dera Sacha Sauda, yeah, the same Dera portrayed by media in a way everyone knows.
I thought of searching more about Dera! So I went on further! I was surprised literally to know that these people associated with Dera literally do not believe in caste system and sit together peacefully under one roof are doing 134 activities and each one of these activities is related to WELFARE!

So by this time, I forgot from where I started but I kept on reading and reading from here and there about this place. To my surprise, they are still doing these activities at a large scale not only in India but various other countries without much coverage and may be with hardly any appreciation but definitely with lots of hard work, patience, determination and money. But what I found interesting was these people have pledged in written to not accept or offer bribes, so that means they are earning via hard work so they are spending their hard earned money for welfare of unknown people – Blood donation camps, cleanliness campaigns, monthly medical camps, tree plantation, posthumous eye donation and body donation, etc. to name a few!
Guys! One more thing I came to know- its foundation day of Dera on 29th April and guess what how are they celebrating it? Again by welfare! I mean how can one be so dedicated and here, I am talking about 65 million people. I strongly feel that one should never believe on anything heard or seen blindly but should check on its own and that’s how my thinking about Dera is getting positive now! I am literally serious!
8th March is remembered as International Women’s Day all around the world. 8th is reserved to make all the precious ladies around us feel more special. This day we go on celebrating for all the courageous and inspiring women around us who are shaping the world towards betterment. The day is also a reminder that so much more needs to be done for numerous number of women whose voice is still unheard and suppressed, who are not given the freedom to show their full potential.

Theme 2019: Balance For Better
There are several reasons why we still need to observe this day as a tribute for women. Power division for man and women is still unbalanced as majority of power seats are still not for women. We still raise eyebrows when a woman takes up kick boxing instead of cooking classes. In developing country like India, Women are still blamed for being raped. Irony! Right? We still judge women for anything they do to feel confident in public, from tattoos to surgeries, from shorts to skirts, there is always objection!!!
To many struggles across the world, lot needs to be done by women. So, this women’s day, let us take a pledge and cherish all the ladies around you. From the one who still struggles to the one who brought in the revolution, let us show respect this Women’s day.
Take a look at how to make them feel cherished this women’s day:
1) A Promise: Well! this will work surely. Make a promise to yourself to respect them. If you are a lady, make sure you extend your routine to some time for yourself because it is a crazy world out there and you have got to be enjoy.
2) A Spa Day:A business women manage career and family too and there is no denial to it. She needs pampering for all the efforts she made whole year. Gift her a spa ticket to make her feel special.
3) Customized stuff:They can very well take care of you so, buy things with thoughtful messages like mugs, t-shirts or any of that stuff and show your love. These inspiration messages will always keep boosting the mind.
4) A Desired Gift: If you know her too well, you know what she needs so gift something, she has been planning to get for long time. Everyone just loves kinds of gifts and surprises, Right? Celebrate the day with your own different ways, because she is special in one million ways.
She is a sister, mother or a wife. Let all important women in your life know that they hold an important and unique position in your heart this Women’s day.
At last just want to add, keep a mindset of gender equality at the forefront of what you do, challenge stereotypes, fight for positive visibility for women in every sections and celebrate women’s achievements at every opportunity. And a small message to all women that
“BE THE GIRL WHO JUST WENT TO FIGHT FOR HERSELF”
GIVE a daily reminder that
YOU ARE ENOUGH.
Just go for it! Always be determined, set your goals and keep rising. The only validation you’ll ever need is your own and no one else’s!
In March we celebrate women strength so I thought this will be the perfect illustration to start this new month with empowerment and strength. At last be thankful for all the most incredible women in our life that have build us up through this life journey, especially to our beautiful hard working mother that
has made us what we are today. Now let’s continue to stand up for, believe in, raising up
ALL women!
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!
