Christmas is undoubtedly the most celebrated holiday in the world with diverse traditions yet shares some common traits such as trees, lights, and rejoice. The joyous festival is celebrated in most of countries in remembrance of Jesus Christ who gave the message of love and goodness.

Christmas is a holiday for all of us. We spend it decorating our homes and preparing delicious food with family. While many of us use the time of Christmas to spend time having fun with family and friends, eating a lot of food, opening up presents in excitement and happiness, but there are individuals who simply cannot relate with this. Beyond the bright lights and thrilling sounds of celebrations, there are people who are not fortunate enough to enjoy the festival. We are surrounded by many but out there, many are alone, without family or friends by their side.
Economic constraints, family problems, physical disabilities, poor health etc. put barriers to their opportunities of happiness.
Let us change our way of celebrating festivals. This Christmas, let us look beyond “our” fun and spread light in dark lives of such people.
Who are the Secret Santas for hundreds of children ?
Every child grows up with the fantasy that Santa would fulfill their wishes on Christmas. Thus, parents or guardians become the secret Santa’s and bring smile on faces of children . But what about those children who have nobody on their side ? The festive charm can really become gloomy for them.
There are devout warriors or messiahs of love who understand and feel the pain of needy, unfortunate and unhealthy children and elderly. The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda celebrate their every festival by lightening up the darkened lives and spreading happiness.
As always, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda reached out to the needy and underpriviliged children.
They distributed stationary, books , toys, clothes eatables like candies and chocolates. Happiness could be clearly seen on the faces of the children when they got new gifts from these angels.
Spread the warmth of love and humanity.
Christmas season is the winter time and It is harsh reality that Lakhs of people around the country lack food and proper clothes to protect themselves from the chilling cold of winter season. Temperature drops down at night and weather becomes non tolerable for the homeless. The volunteers of Dera Sacha Dauda have come forward to provide relief to such people . With the pious teachings and guidance of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, volunteers are distributing warm clothes like jackets , sweaters to needy children adults and elderly for free. They are distributing blankets to help them protect themselves from harsh weather.
What is the “wish for wellness” ?
Have you gifted something to someone you never met before without any reason ? It seems weird, right. We often care for our loved ones or acquaintances. But volunteers of Dera Sacha sauda think the whole society as their family. Generally We take fruits with us whenever we visit any sick relative or friend in a hospital. But there are many people admitted in govt. hospitals without any guardians. The volunteers of DSS provide such needy patients with fruits by keeping compassion and generosity in hearts. They become their guardians and friends and spend time with them. Such beautiful gesture of kindness has been taught to them by their Guru, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

On the festival of Christmas many volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda diabetes blood to save lives. Blood donation is a great act of humanity that can save up to 3 lives at one time. There are many patients suffering from chronic diseases who are in need of blood transfusion. Many emergencies require blood transfusion. Thay volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda never miss an opportunity to donate blood.
Let us spread smiles and happiness every day.
Not only christmas, love and happiness need to be spread everyday. Humanity is the biggest religion of all. Love knows no boundaries and vanishes all differences away.
